Backgrounds were nice, but the dice style (fading in and out) seemed boring, not hinting at 3D at all, but it was a nice transition between the dice rolls, quite soothing. It's a good representation of the real game, though I never played it myself before today, however...
I had seen this game played by an old woman in a nursing home, in the 1970's. She spoke of the game in mathmatical, spiritual tomes, as well as strategy to get the perfect score, to 'shut the box', as it were... I believe she had done it once as a child, but had miscounted and left a crucial card, on her third to last roll. She spent her off hours throughout her life trying to legitimately get another perfect. Finally she gave up, and died not long after (the staff were reluctant to say so at the time). I guess the moral of the story is: never to retire the things you do every day to stay busy/happy in life.
