Rats, couldn't figure out to enter the numbers, had to check a walkthrough... maybe if you placed a blinking cursor in the field that needs to be pressed... plus the first locker's field was really small, if it had been bigger to start with, I might've figured it out easier. Some of the objects and directional buttons were a bit too small to click easily.

Even though I essentially cheated much of the way through, I found the art, challenges and ambiance to be better than average, as was the ending, which (to any medal chaser) is a great way to get replay value, though I would've preferred a little more verbosity and/or graphics for each of the 2 endings. I guess it was a tad short. but it's a properly good point n' click game.

What did she think of the blood spatter? It's a good game, brutally simple... a mix of cuteness and the joy of only having one life to lose, kinda like sweet and sour.

SeethingSwarm responds:

I always enjoy adding some sort of twist into my games, especially the cute ones, and with this game it turned out to be the way Anna and Bruno dies :P

She's used to my games and although she was shocked the first time she saw it, she wasn't really too surprised. She did help to design the Acid Bunny games after all. The blood and death sounds make it just a bit more heart-breaking for her whenever she dies, hehe :)

Glad you liked it!

Wish I could've given this a better score, especially since it's beatable, but I find the old TV scan lines to be way too thick. Then you put the glasses on, it's much worse! If I could see the range of the bullets, it'd have been a lot easier... maybe if they were colored red? Also found the cop's AI movements to be a little too aggressive, especially when it takes 2 buttons to fire.

I was hoping the game would be as sharp as the title screen :\ Otherwise, the game's laid out well, the medals work, sounds good, the ambiance is there... maybe too much ambiance for a gamer.

deathink responds:

Thanks for the review my man.
The scan lines should be the same size as in the title, maybe that's a glitch.
While I find the game play super engaging, and tailored almost specifically to my "action oriented" needs, I was very aware how this game would be received by the public, and most of the features that people would see as negative traits.
However, I don't really consider this a game. I consider it a satire, and complex fan art. Not really meant to be played to "beat", but just a short nostalgic thing to be experience. My goal was to just make people turn it on and say "how cool would it be if this was an actual real game".
I think people would really enjoy it more if they picked up on that. But honestly, its really flattering that people completely missed the fact that it was a mock game and thought that is was the real game.
And in the end (most likely because it was tailored to to me) I found the game play super engaging. But again, I am not criticizing anyone for not finding it so.

Another excellent Vortex Point! Luckily the math problem is easily hackable, and it didn't take too long to figure out what to do with the screw.. these antagonists are so easily rattled. However, I would've liked a little more dialogue with another person or two; crime fighting is about gathering evidence, and maybe there could've been a tad more of that.

It's a nice game, but even zoomed all the way in, there's a lack of fine adjustment, though the 'screen size' option does help a bit. Maybe if there was an option to use the arrow keys to make changes to your last firing position (coordinate numbers could be a bit larger/easier to see), and hit a keyboard button to fire the photon, that would work.

Also, what are the requirements for "Shoot Yourself"? I've hit myself (starting star) with ricochets and orbits... nothing?

Sandamnit responds:

Whenever you click with your mouse, a crosshair appears where your last shot was made. You can then use the keyboard arrows (or WASD keys) to fine tune the position of the crosshair. From there, you can press the spacebar (or E) to shoot again.

As for the Shoot Yourself medal, you need to do that five times with five distinct stars.

You listed the wrong walkthrough in the Author Description! That's okay, the in-game button goes to the right page. The problem is, you kinda need it! I should've guessed the spider had some issues with looking at itself... but assaulting and capturing the moon? Well, maybe it was too happy!

I like your work, making a point and click game based on dreams should be a hard one to play... and you did give little clues, but I gotta dock ya half a star for being a little too creative, and a smallish screen... it could be at least 200 pixels bigger on each side.

Thoroughly enjoyed the game and it's uniqueness, I think you and your team are doing a great job!

Squeka responds:

Thank you very much for noticing, I have fixed the walkthrough link :3.
Thank you very much too for the feedback! :3

Nice details and cropping work, legitimately creepy. Pity those stats don't matter, got a real kick out of checking out all those human vermin in the character select. I'd like to see a Bingusmon edition, where you pit these kids against various adult figures!

Capital letters in 'a guess the word(s)' game? Big faux-pas man, caps shouldn't matter at all. In fact, it might be misconstrued as a purposely bad game, that requires you watch the walkthrough to be able to finish it, since the variables are so high. Adding more correct answers, would certainly help, I'm not asking you to make this an easy game, just more accessible and forgiving of wording, in both languages.

In the future, I'd suggest you use the Project Manager here to beta test your upcoming games. Inviting a few members of the site to work out the bugs, would go a long way towards improving the content of your games, and your reputation as a professional who does whatever it takes to make a solid, stand-alone product.

I'm telling you this as a friend, because I know you mean well, I've been a fan of yours for quite a while now, and you deserve my unvarnished opinion... that's what friends do.

Munguia responds:

Thanks VicariousE, you should use Caps as you learn in school, but you are right it can be end as a bad game if you dont follow gramatical rules, i add lots of posible answers, spanish is one option between others, I use the portal as a Proyect manager, for me you are a beta tester, this is second episode, 1st one a few members hate the Drag and drop system and ask for type version, here it is, i just made a 2nd episode because i got a lot of material to show with all upgrades users ask. why to upgrade games if i can make a brand new one? i m learning here!

I just looking for ways to show people my artwork on galleries with some game play, those games are just an excuse to show my cartoons. you will find some easy quick games on my way, i do that while im making other not easy o quick games.

Thanks for let me know your opinion. :)

The zone-sama link doesn't work, the zero threw it off. Sure took a while to load, but was totally worth it! So this is HMTL5? Mike, great job, who knew? Sucks I can't archive this for off-line viewing, but the links help, even if they don't go to the specific Art Portal page, going to the artist is enough.

There's a whole wall of checked hearts to the left of this page, so any review would undoubtedly be tainted. That said, -every single submission- to this piece has astounded me, every artist went far and above the call of duty!

I'm glad Sabtastic and Newgrounds inspired such atypically impressive pieces, shockingly so. I hope this sets the benchmark for great things to come for Newgrounds. Personally, I never go anywhere else online, because all the elements that'd you want online, are right here....

So to all of the artists who participated in this, please include Newgrounds on your off-site pages and links like Facebook, Twitter, G+ and such, don't be ashamed of this place. Share some of your fans with the rest of Newgrounds!

The quarter is at the bottom left of the lefthand side bunch of milk jugs, in front of Gary's Dairy... it's way too small and similarly colored to the building and jugs, to be noticeable at all! Also some of the text is almost too hard to read. Otherwise, a good fun effort.
