There's a definite weirdness curve to the game, and that's fine! Good little story came into its own rather well... or was rather birthed :p We call 'em English muffins in the US... not sure I'd be comfortable with one that big visiting Earth... maybe a quick swing by the sun? I dislike underdone English muffin |:

The graphics were fine, but could've used a second layer to frame things out, add a hint of visual context to compliment the words... but the simple was nice in its own right :3 Anyway, glad you got this done on time, it's really cool!

Thanks so much Vicarious ! ha ha swing by the sun for a little browning. Yeah - I went with super simple graphics for this 'cos of the time constraints and actually the freedom it gives when writing a spontaneous kind of script. I'm really happy you liked the weird story - thanks again ! :D

Good, solid game all-around. The cleverness needed as the game progresses, was very refreshing!

That Run to the Hills song was well sung, but disturbing :|

7 hours, 42 minutes. Of hell. Too many clicks for the non-cheater. Why not just hold the damn button down, and upgrade the speed? Nice concept and all, but a medal/goal of 50 thousand clicks?!

Coolboyman responds:

It was originally 1,000,000 clicks :p. I might lower it actually, maybe 30,000 would be fairer.

Pretty simple, but it worked, start to finish. That's a pass.

Sweet game! Took me 15:05 and a respectable amount of consternation. Could use a leaderboard and a medal, but it stands well on it's own. It's almost too conventional...

That was an amazing story! Also, the artwork was excellent, if a bit scratchy looking... using 3 or 4 colors really worked well! Can't wait for another story like this, but maybe next time, look in the Audio Portal here for some music to add.

Thank you very much Vicarious :) So happy you liked it. I'm just in the process of making my next game - the art is the same style and I have a musician friend who is going to compose a score for me. Yeah my game art is kind of scratchy --- it's sort of intentional, I do a lot of time-consuming big paintings that aren't, so the line art in my games is rough and quicker to make

Shame the animated banners didn't work (really miss the one with the chickens), but there's a lot of stuff here I haven't seen archived before. It's a damn fine collection of NG ephemera. Might wanna add where the mute button is located in the Author Comments.

Great concept, just needs more than 2 levels, and maybe some places to jump to... strategy.

Nah, too vague from the description. You have a unlisted time limit (the music video, which you are trying to reach). Don't even bother to catch glowsticks, just aim ahead, take doors and avoid obstacles, like the indestructible ravers at the end. It relies too much on chance, since the randomly helpful (and slow to snap to) door-warps, and ravers at the end, can hold you up for a significant amount of time.

It's a good concept and all, but without proper instructions and time forgiveness, this game is a bit too hard. Plus, you have to win the game (reach the party), to get credit (leaderboard) for the amount of glowsticks you collect.

Wanted to be a simple man of the Earth, enjoying art and literature, the bounty of the Earth. Instead, I have to fend against governments and principalities, global conspiracies and bad social engineering, ree, my autism
