Reminiscent of Jan Hammer, Genesis, Talking Heads, Devo, Kraftwerk, Yazoo... I better stop while I'm ahead :) Not as catchy as it could be, but the structure and the synths used, were a spot-on example, of prime 1980's TV series filler/mood music (such as Miami Vice or Crime Story). Very nice man, I'd love to hear this song in animation here!

I wasn't old enough to sit through an episode of miami vice and to this day i find most of the pop from back then depressing, so arguably my positive impressions come from the sampled synths my amiga indoctrinated me with :3
Composition wise i'm having a hard time making things as catchy compared to genuine 80s stuff, i find that's all way more lively then what my own techno background has me well versed in unfortunately :(

Tastefully pitch-corrected and structured. Very loveable tune and natural speaking, introspective lyrics... didn't even seem like a 4 minute song, it was so good! Professional example of the New Wave genre!
