whoa...

I had one of those lil buggers at my old house, minus the hourglass. Nice style combinations - awesome feathers! Looking forward to the short, but take your time and don't be afraid to ask for help.

DeadOnStudios responds:

thanks :) and I will keep that in mind

Neat creepies

...but what's the bunny near the knee doing? (I bet that question's never been asked of an artist before.)

DeadOnStudios responds:

the guess the term would be vomiting. as the title says they are evil pink bunnies. They are part of a funny comic book series that I have been working on. just a bit of (ZOMBIE like) bunnies, an unlikely foe.

Checked it out...

Must be very cool to see your design loping around the roadways! Did the BMW race yet? Post the score and a side by side of the drawings and the actual car. That would be cool.

devilsgarage responds:

yup they did race. Hit this link to see the actual car http://www.devilsgarage.c om/design/the-behemoth-car (check the link for gaps between each character when pasting that in the browser)

cars are so art

Shading and freehand are nicely nuanced, like most automotive art I've seen over the years. One star off for potential headlight misalignment... they used to inspect for that in my state. Now we're so poor it's just the Fed exhaust standards.

JPJPJP responds:

Thanks a lot, man!

Well, duh

The focus of any magazine is "making you want it". So if you can't afford it, you'll buy the pictures and descriptions of it. I suppose that's the appeal of "Top Gear (UK)" - hot sports cars, expensive locales with an every-guy's take on the whole thing. Thanks for the link, picture and message. 5 Nene's and 10/10 stars for illustrating how America killed the world economy and free-will at the same time.

trofdugweed responds:

thank you very much VicariousE, glad you liked it.

Did you have to say?

I try not to hand out 10's, but the coloring, position and lighting all point to ... reflecting on "existing"? Your work is beautiful and telling. Thanks for coming to NG!

emiliapaw5 responds:

Thank you :)

Very nice

Looks like it belongs in a children's book. One star of for questioning yourself! MAYBE just a touch of something at the bottom of the frame but.... nah.

BansheeIndian responds:

that's exactly what I was going for, children's book kind of feel. Glad you picked up on that!

Very Neat-o

...but I'd love to know what the story is behind the picture's creation. Too many pixie-sticks and not enough mud pies? AhhhMonsters from Nick influence?

torithefox responds:

I want to make more art like this and the words "tea party" came to mind.

very unique

Costumes look Star Trekish, and the rest hits me like the first few books of Dune, describing the different Houses... glad yer posting to NG. Quite imaginative.

duplex2 responds:

Many thanks, I love the old Sci-Fi style, just normal people getting in problems, no ultra storng space marines nor matrix-anime-cool people.

As the Sweat-Hogs used to say, "Whoa!"

Way to break onto the NG scene! Very many nice things you have created. Hope the commission $ is keepin' ya fed okay.

upon responds:

Thanks! Actually I'm your standard destitute artist. I couldn't do what I do without the support of my family and friends (not a lot of money coming in).

Wanted to be a simple man of the Earth, enjoying art and literature, the bounty of the Earth. Instead, I have to fend against governments and principalities, global conspiracies and bad social engineering, ree, my autism
