I just re-planted and dressed two anti-deer scarecrows out in the back field, 2 hours ago :3 Had some trouble with the frame-rate since the only option was 1080p, but after a lot of pausing, I found I liked the action! Subjects were well drawn, well appointed and expressive. Good use of color, rock solid audio, etc, etc. Every animation you produce is pearl of great worth!
Buy a rototiller, and don't feed the cats so much :)

Warlord-of-Noodles responds:

you ought to be able to click all the way down to 360P... at least I can.

After a few seconds, I wanted to blam this, but after listening to that amazing audio, well, I couldn't.
I know you've only had Flash for less than a month *buurp*, so the video aspect isn't exactly first-rate, but you manged to accompany the audio quite well.
So.. according to your profile, you were 4 when the tape was made. Curious.

Luigiweegy responds:

That would be correct. You can hear a small children around the "loading up a burp" part. That would be me.

Why feel bad bro? What do kids know about the world? A better question might be, why are we teaching little kids about mass killings?
I like how there's a lot of head space and awkward angles in the scenes; First graders are small aren't they? And so expressive! Backgrounds were simple and pleasing. Action and text kinda moved fast, but that's the easiest way to get the subject told and done with; let the viewer understand, while looking at the office door. Another good show, young man! Was this you in First grade?

SwedishPlumTrees responds:

True. I will take your advice and slow down the text next time. Thanks. Also, yes, it's a true story. I felt bad when I realized what I'd done after my parents explained it to me. But now I laugh about it, because I was so naive.

Cute little bit. Usually it's pronounced AzBurJers. Good audio and clean lines.

DotExecutables responds:

Thanks!
I have been doing shorts in order to improve within each one. Eventually I'll make longer cartoons.

One thing I like: Both sides of an issue. Americans love to be spoon fed everything! Your work at least shows a knack for exposition without seeming preachy or 'spoon fed'. I doubt many news consumers of Drudge, Politico or the BBC are also NG viewers. As such the political humor and sarcasm might be lost on a younger non-UK audience, but that doesn't take away the shiny animation :3 Does Cockvane have a US subsidiary? We pretty much eat anything.

cockvane responds:

Well it was nice to wake up this morning to some kind reviews! thanks everybody for your kind comments and for taking it in context. Blacktoothsabre recognised that there was a bit of repetition yet didn't mark too harshly probably because (s)he recognises that when given just 2 months some corners have to be cut a little. Also good to see that most people do get the story.

Simple Christmas card from a developer, that reminds me of the kind that software developers made in the late 1980's. 2 songs, two animated backgrounds is more than enough for me to feel good about the holiday and their sentiments.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Tequila Zombies was a sweet game!

IriySoft responds:

Thanks! ^)

Extreme detail, very animated and so very well executed. The topic was slightly overstated and obvious, but it takes nothing away from this gem. Good choice of song too.
This is a professional animation.

wash responds:

wow thanks, glad you enjoyed it! Yeah I know the topic is a little redundant but the idea was to get across the message of how were messing up the world.

I still can't get over how well written this series is!! Sure the video is recycled crap (sry mon), but the characterizations, dialogue and script, make this one of the best character-studies (genre wise) on NG.

3rabbitsproductions responds:

I really appreciate your comments. Due to the fact that 3rabbitsproductions is a one-man operation...recycling shots is a must for me and the animation quality is getting better each time, but there is a rustic style to the show that I'm keeping because it was so appealing to my favorite art professor in college. Overall, the show really is a character study and all five characters are pretty well established in this part of the episode. This video gives you a good overview of each character and the audience a 'feel' for the whole series.

I've seen enough 20th century PBS and art house films to know what the creator was going for, but this had an especially clean and concise depth to it. Some of it's to due the mastery of the software, but the images and b/w animations make absolutely clear it's intentions.
This project came out great man! Despite the subject matter, this is a runaway hit. A very communicative piece!

TaraGraphika responds:

Thank you very much VicariousE!

I'm not sure it's wise on comparing to PBS and art house films with my animations though...I still need more practice and improvement. But I'm happy that the subject matter and intentions are delivered to you in the manner of entertainment:D

Bull's eye. 5/5. Other reasons NG trumps YT may not be listed in the Author Description, but I'm sure it comes down to actually putting effort into your animations, and not just acting a fool for the camera IRL. Simple, expertly animated and voiced, this penultimate parody also shows great concepts make great entertainment.

Sexual-Lobster responds:

thanks!
