[sfct part eleven]

I've been a big fan of this series from the beginning. But, have you tried tweens? I'm no expert in animation, but it might eliminate the perceived choppiness. Aside from that, the action, the lovingly detailed characters, and the audio are instant winners!

Hey there buddy, thank you very much for your ongoing support I really appreciate it. I mostly hang around Deviant art, but every time I do an installment I submit it here aswell. Yes I use tweens a little bit but not as much as I should. I also must confess because this one took so long to do I started to rush toward the end. after this story is finished I am going to take on a smaller project and I am going to experiment with adding more tweens and body movements so they don't look so robotic. Also thanx for your tips buddy, I find them very helpful :D

A fine first effort! Excellent work on the little details, though a few more could've been squeezed in... (cracker crumbs, PB on teeth, you know) no need to waste frames. Only, do be careful about red-lining the db meter.. had some over-amplified volume crashing, when the dark side spoke out. Conversely, the little guy in front of the computer could've enunciated a bit better.

Screw the YouTube, and ride the tank of mediocrity, here at Newgrounds!

Thanks for the review! It means a lot to me. I'll definitely take more time on the next project, and try to normalize the audio better. I guess since I already knew what he was saying I didn't realize how quiet it was at parts.

And Newgrounds beats YouTube any day, haha! I just want to mirror my stuff there before anyone else does (just in case). Thanks again!

Nice 'package' at the end... a little past its expiration date, but still consumable. Perfect outro music! Might be lean on animation, but long on... hm, better stop while I'm ahead (no homo)

Yeah I'm not overly proud with the 'animation' because there isn't really much but I wanted make something short, simple and completely homoerotic so I feel like I ticked those boxes. And yeah I wanted to avoid using the outro music because I don't like to make a habit out of using music that isn't royalty free but I just couldn't resist....

It's good considering all the complications, but weren't you aiming for more high-brow stuff (long-term, that is)? By your estimation, was the original script that good?
How's work on your new series coming along?

I have a link in the description to the original SWF with the animatic. It's about 2 minutes long, and the series is pretty good. We got 4 episodes done so far, and we're about to start production on the fifth.

[Good Guys Part I]

This was an unforeseen and very likeable telling, of how Iron Lung, super hero extraordinaire, came into existence. Had to admit, the intro of this piece really had my subconscious sliding sideways... Goodfellas came out the year I graduated highschool.
Did Toby and Steele Reserve take mass transit? Any reason why the truck driver had an British accent?

Thanks for the comments :). I liked the idea of having IRON LUNG being this outcast with horribly burnt skin - which is why he wears his BLUE IRON-MAN-like suit. Bill actually helps BEN later in the show to develop the material so it actually helps heal Ben's scars faster over time. This scene is technically a flashback in the episode...it takes place after they go to a bar to 'celebrate a personal victory' on UK's behalf...so you'll find out what SR and Toby are up to later on. No explanation for the screechy British accent...haha sorry man. I just thought it would be humorous. Thanks as always for watching. Now it's onto part 2...

Ha ha, not quite. The Amiga 500 was my first computer though. When I first started doing pixel art I did a bit on a deluxe paint emulator but just ended up in photoshop, it's just easier.

Toby accidentally poisoned Anakin Skyrunner (it's kind of implied who killed him cause I zoom in right on Toby - so you know he's up to know good or at least you should suspect that he's up to no good) and Toby had hung him up like a spider would so Anakin's body was just kind of dangling in a room and then he fell through the ceiling because Toby's webbing dissolves after a while. I was going to do an additional scene explaining that but that episode was already too long haha.
