yup

Alright. I get it. Cut-rate Peanuts animation, about zoomer childhood in a modern context, and without padding for time like those old lazy fucks did for over-air broadcast networks. Gotta make bank from those Sanka and Sam Goode ads.

4.5/5 only missing elements are: a second layer of context (hard to implement/write for given current format), and depth of field/detail/backgrounds/more ambiance.

OK stewbrew, that's my review, good luck, gob bless and keep cracking at it, thanks for producing good content

ps: I was stuck on magic mtn in FL w/ my folks for 2 1/2 hrs, not too bad tho, we had at least an hour of shade, while the poor fucks in front of us baked. We could smell what protein they ate...... don't let me write for u

I found the faces and explosions much more nuanced here, than I did in S1E2's final cut, what happened?

Also, best wishes on S1E4, I'm certain it's gonna knock my socks off!

'..appeals to the youthful spirit of America..' Was kinda left field ad campaign, but saturating ads of hype, usually red-flag... men like stats. PSP not bad product for its time, just meh, especially when faced w/ faster cellphones.
#marketing_controversies (not covered here, but worth mentioning - hired taggers/spraypaint artists was one)

Half star off for lack of backgrounds, color... shit tons of effort lol. VA obviously, takes the cake here

gg daily 5th, good mix o visual elements... can't rly (honestly) get 4.0 on this site unless you've got more frames... but gg on the effort to keep the series going, and following your muse

This is gonna seem weird but this comment has kinda fundamentally changed the way i animate recently, while the 1-4 frame quick movements i used to do were technically solid from an animation perspective it is simply not noticable when viewing it from the outside, i'm adding more nuanced facial animation for dialogue and just generally making it more lively. I'm aware this reply wasn't some grand statement on the validity of my animation but it really made me think. Thank u for this comment.

Not bad for a first submission! Could've used an extra frame or two showing the cat in mid-air before it hit the floor - couldn't tell where the cat came from initially, had to pause to see the roommate held it in it/his mouth.

k, can agree
white suvs menace 2 me and western civilization as a whole
not all female 'za carriers the same, overall ree (production values, nuance, feels) within 5/5
gg, you got pacing, style and irl ree
*shrug, no extra star for daytona ref, fucking retro tryhard

no u fat
first post
it's all about the frames, and you put em down with respect to your script
best wishes on ad-rev

There's more than enough nuance in this single piece (both in VA work, and production value/DP work) to be worthy of commercial patronage.

https://lewisroscoe82.newgrounds.com/ has a vision worthy of mainstream distribution (if you're a late boomer/gen x/open to history's foibles)

edit: VA work capable (captain of US vessel excellent, perfect CO demeanor), script supports (to the best of my knowledge) vernacular of the time, short of bone fide advisors/current or off-duty military personnel

Why are you watching this on Newgrounds? Because you know the little voices speak the most.

edit: 1.2023 Know a guy from work whose son served aboard the Carl Vincent, funny eh?
