Check out Spirit Science by JordanD, maybe even continue where you left off in the other series.. you did a sequel, laid out a buncha stuff..

Ah well, best of luck taking an interest in things, that haven't yet inspired you... 'cause you haven't seen/done/been done by them yet.

[Day of The D-duMb-V]

Compared to the rest of Newgrounds 'slice of life' productions, this one blows the them out of the water, nets them, guts and cleans them. Lip synch, backgrounds, characters all above par. Reminds me slightly of Fritz the Cat, which is a good thing, since that was done a long-ass time ago, and, you know, this is the 21st century.

This was an awesome piece of animation and writing, kudos to all those who made this a reality! With any luck, is won't go under the radar, and maybe even get Front Paged!

It's an excellent FBF animation, asshole on the carpet noises are synched nicely, it's just a simple one trick doggy, but it's an attractive first animation, congrats!

Thanks man, I've wanted to do an animation for a while and finally decided to stop making excuses and just do something (shitty as it may be) and stop over thinking. Just get something out.
Animating is a lot harder than it looks, and there's a lot to learn. This was just an exercise and a way of forcing myself to do something I've always wanted to do, and I appreciate your criticism.

Okay, it's a dub, but lol, what a nice job on the scripting and voices! If it makes me laugh, it's worth having on Newgrounds, glad to see you doing a solo act here kid ;)

These dubs were my jam once upon a time, but they were met with a lot of resistence when I first started making them since they don't really fall into what is traditionally accepted here on Newgrounds. When my first dub was blammed off the portal, I reupped it with a disclaimer at the beginning defending my fair use of Avatar footage and compared it to the vast assortment of animations at the time that were using copyrighted sprites. My appeal seemed to work as all my dub submissions since then have made it through the portal.

I wouldn't dream of comparing the effort I put into these dubs to that of even the most basic hand-drawn flash animations, but it is still a fun way to show off my other abilities to my pears despite my ret"art"ation.

Anyway, thanks for the watch and the review, Vicarious. I expect I will see you around.

For a first try, this came out great! No sound, color, plot, or backgrounds.. but there's a lot of fluid frames there, and the artwork is lovely. How many frames is this, and how long did it take you to do? The last hand movements were kinda fast, but great job on popping out a character out of a little ball :)

That was a lot of frames and a lot of digital puppeteering and a lot of clothes fluttering and, damn, nice job. Glad to hear you're taking on an old love for an extended spin, hope scripting goes well.
