Yep, only a matter of time now, before you're scouted, young sir :)
Maybe there could be a dark outline around the character, to make it 'pop' out a bit better from the background, which is kinda blah.

    Ver2ion responds:

In the game, you're overfilled with a blue aura when you pick up The Master Sword, so I didn't really know what to do. :L

Just awesome. Saw the flick when it came out, which makes me feel old as fuck, but must mean you really captured the spirit of those two!

Did you apply a special effect on the "S" emblem? Can't tell at this rez, but it sure mimics the actual costume texture and semi-sparkly look to it. Fine job!!

    ScaredyDave responds:

Not an effect, I used a brush that is very "spattery" and painted the costume using that mostly. It was a bitch and a half to get it to look right, but Im very pleased with the result.

I don't know why, but I think this would look great on teh side of a van!
Nicely sparkly dragon, vibrant water, poofy fog and clouds.. stars look a bit bunched up (on closer inspection), but considering this a 2 hr. speed paint... nice, really! Composition looks sweet too!

    Jessismith responds:

    Thanks VE. :)
I am a huge fan of vivid colors, and probably went a bit overboard with this, one. But you're right. I could picture this as a mural or something...or a colorful advertisement on a van, lol.
And yeah....I didn't put a lot of effort into this...the stars were just done by me grabbing the pen and jabbing at my tablet a lot, lol.

All very detailed, colorful and strangely unique!

    WordWizard64 responds:

Thank you! That's what I'm aiming for :)

This is one seriously jacked up lady. Um, any back-story on her?

    ZaneZansorrow responds:

    Uhhhh...ummmm...eeeeee.....

Some expressive slices of life in these panels. The shading, muted colors and real life detail, show what it feels like over there. Is that a Lada Riva in the last panel? We were supposed to get them in the 1970's (in the US), but our leaders at the time said no...

    spacefader responds:

It's a Lada, not sure what kind, just a generic one. We got them in new zealand as payment for some kind of debt. They are awesome looking cars I reckon. I went over to Georgia, Azerbaijan and Armenia last year. Great part of the world. These are some drawings I did based on that trip. The Lada one is a place called James Bond oil field in Baku, the lada wasn't actually in the oil lake but it seemed like it should be ha ha!!!!!!!

Very detailed and expressive work indeed! Work like this keeps me coming back to Newgrounds, year after year, decade after... well, we'll see.
All that line shading really paid off with this piece (click the image for full detail!)

    spacefader responds:

Hey cheers man, those lines are nothing for a .25 rapidograph!

It's a cult, but I do love the line art. Very pretty!

    bloominglove responds:

    lol Thanks.

But these are your words, your images? Powerful stuff. If it looks rough, it simply adds to the lack of pride we feel, when our freedom is taken away - it's not meant to be pretty, it just needs to be said.

    EchoCharlieDelta responds:

Yep, my words/images. The account manager from the ad firm has seen this too and he loved it.

Jazzy, crazy, psychedelic, day glow lookin' lady looks fine! Awesome work on the background and body aura, it really is quite alluring!
Was gonna give you 4 1/2 stars to keep you on your toes, but I like this piece - it's like an early 80's art deco of what future art would look like! I'm not kissing ass, this really speaks to me.

    beastkid7 responds:

    hehe thanks V!
