Ha, I know of Edgar Wright and I'm glad you got to put some of your work in front of him! This piece has an early 20th century photographic feel to it, kinda like some of your other work. Only niggle would be the lowered left arm's forearm bend (and shortness of raised forearm), but maybe that's the way they looked back in the day, when labor was a hard and daily activity.
Congratulations on the win - may you receive many more!

thanks braaaaaajjjjjj

Character looks great, the field has a nice depth to it.... it's been a while since I played the Alice is Dead games, but WHAT does error 753 mean? Guess I can understand the $$$ and vital bribes thing - money is the root of all evil.
Good work on the happy, fluffy clouds - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bob_Ross :3

The clarity and fullness of the face and its features really makes this piece come alive! Body composition looks awesome, especially considering the angle - how long to do this?

My critical review: Awwwwww :3

Lol thank you! :)

It's a nice slice of life. Especially like the muted colors in the background.
I'm no artist, but 10% of borax (laundry booster) and 90% powdered sugar is the answer - ants can't distinguish the poison from the sugar, so it goes right to the queen and her followers.

This work questions our notions of life as we know it. There are other dimensions than these....
Don't know what to make of the bottom line art happenings... specifically the right rock - is that a drawing of the creature on the left. Is that a blue tongue on the crouching creature?
Sometimes I like not knowing what in the hell I'm looking at. I'm happy with this.

Very interesting interpretation ;)

I agree with Shad; the right amount of black! What really draws me in, is the individual detail of different things.... differently!
The colors and shading detail make this piece 3 dimensional and almost difficult to look at - no easy task, I'm sure. My only niggle is the blandness of the sky and the mountains, and it's damn minor.
This looks like the work of a professional cartoonist, having a bit of fun with a piece; a long term relationship. This really draws me back to The Adventures of Asterix comic books - it must be the color palette and the lack of shading colors (thanks to the black and a heap of detail).
I haven't had a desktop background in some years.... I think I just found a new one, to ponder upon.

Yeah, the inside side of the knee doesn't have such a long crease.
Yeah, a little big here, a little small there, but the whole composition looks like it doesn't wanna be corrected: it stands (sits) on it's own. The hair and the fullness of the face really help set the rest of the body off. Nice seat-signature :3

Thank you, yes I really like showing off curves & sometimes I go a little too far. - thank you very much for the fair review. x

Well, yeah maybe... but I consider it a sun-bleached view. The body has a light purple overtone? Really goes well with the art portal's purple and it's just plain great colors.
I wish the image were bigger; some of the details on the body are uncanny (right hand left foot, wow good gravy!). Left leg could be longer and more of a transition to an ankle (ran outta room :P)

Ah, funny? I just got done planting (plants not kittens, though there are 3 of em out there) farming, when this comes up :P The last frame shows a ponytailed guy (again, wtf?); at least I wasn't wearing a wifebeater.
I think this is a great idea, as it looks like a reality TV show, in a wonderfully ludicrous way.
You got the vote of this farmer to continue, if you wish. Well done.
