[Poison Ivy]

Excellent, all around! She can pick my zucchini whenever she likes ;) Background is wonderfully detailed, really sets the mood.

Love the background patina, and the natural variables in the 'frame', though the belly ripple looks out of bounds for a 6 pack. Or not. It can't be that expensive a frame, she's only got 2/3 digits per hand! Must be a foreign model... oh well, glad she finally made it out of the woods, or her BDSM and body shop club meeting, whatever ;)

It's really nice, but it's... very white! Maybe try flood filling in the white with another color, so the lines pop a bit more. Is this a WIP?

It's a little rough and undefined in some spots, but damn, I'd say you passed the assignment with flying colors! If this is a storyboard, I'd say you nailed it perfectly, commendably so.

Thanks! the assignment is make 2 paintings of a character traveling in the same world..
We have 2 weeks for this, so i decided to do a lot of sketches before i spend the remainder of the time painting it. I ended up with these underdrawings which will be the base for the paintings:)

Zosheaga is a word play between Zombie and Osheaga (wich is a bit like the Montreal's version of Coachella).

Have you considered experimenting with different photo textures? The starscape one's getting a little overused, seems all the rage on dA, even when the texture looks out of place. I mention it, because you used the same one on both subjects, even though as plants, they are vastly different.

Aside from that, these subjects do look well drawn and colored.

I think you're onto something! It's finely drawn, but has simple shadings, perfect for children. Very attractive elements and textures. Just wish my back wasn't hurting, right where his is :\

Phenomenal details, love it! Her weapon could've used a tad more definition/character, but that's just an opinion, hardly detracts from the piece. What a little smirk she has, and with those unemotional eyes, really captures a personality in a certain kind of situation.
