That's remarkably spot on! But is it made from wood or clay? The lighting is just low enough, to have some colored gauss noise in it... "Flattering, this has made me!"

Oh, sorry. I forgot to say that this was made using Super Sculpey brand polymer clay and acrylic paints.

Very lifelike and 3 dimensional, an improvement over previous works :) I'm sure you could've gone nuts on the wings, but in this case, simple is better, and the light and color shading prove it.

Your work has always been compelling and thought provoking, AND consistently good, which makes your web comic even more attractive! In a perfect world, DorkToes would be a syndicated newspaper comic strip, for real. As long as you don't dwell on the money aspect of things, keep going, your voice (stories/scripting/anecdotes) and illustrations are fantastic.

Had I thought of my previous work as a baby, I wonder what would've happened differently?
