Only you could make an orc look so respectable! Classy uniform to the max. Ruffles are a little rough for my taste though, but it's a class act, sure enough! The thumbprint in the background, almost makes it look like it's a paper currency ready picture, nice! The splotchy sunlight in the lower left by his shoulder is slightly annoying, everything else frames out very well!

As you say, it's a concept, so I can excuse the rough edges on the lines. The inky layout is really good, however I've noticed a lot of dA and a few NG artists using space telescope pictures as backgrounds. I've been guilty of it myself, though I did what I could, to make as much of it, my own by tweaking and adding to it...

On wide view, it looks like a background bright star cluster, forms above where his/her left hand would be. That makes me wonder if it's close enough to be smoke, vapor, a ghost of a hand? It's a very appealing image with a few rough edges.

"There will be, if you don't co-operate, my fine furry friend!"
A fat robber? Must've been a good one, or has fallen on hard times recently, and took to the trade.

Yeah, see what you mean, there's a dearth of Bob Ross' 'happy clouds' to get the composition just so. Also noticed the BG trees are cloned/mirrored.. no big whoop, but maybe next time change up one side so it isn't too obvious. Her left hand is on backwards (whoops!), and the wolf could use some bigger feet, as well as some details, like in the tail. What does one on wolfback hunt? I'd love to see an action scene with these characters :)

You've got the coloring and shading down pat, just need to improve the lines a little. Use pencil first, then ink/draw the most likely lines. Easy to say, not to do :) Really reminds of me the old 1970's Hanna Barbera cartoon characters (not Scooby Doo, Thundarr or the Hurculoids though)

Mr-Insanity97 responds:

Oh ok and thank you. I think why reminds you of the old 1970's Hanna Barbera's cartoon characters because I Actully still like watching Hanna Barbera's cartoon, I think they a lot of Hanna Barbera's cartoons I like but I can't remember.

It reminds me of Schwang-Schwing from MDK 2 in body armor. Looks positively brilliant, a very polished work!

Undeadkitty13 responds:

thanks I have been playing around with cel shading

Is that what I can look forward to? Getting set on fire and handed a meager check (is that what the farmer's holding)?

ThePulp responds:

He's holding nothing.

Holy pooper scooper, that's a -really- fringe movie! Surprised the gnome (was it Max?) isn't chomping on a cigar, color palette looks dead-on, though it's been a few years since I watched Wizards. It's always a sure bet, honoring the best of the past... as there sure is a lot of fan art of the new stuff out there :p Yay for short people!

doublemaximus responds:

Hahah thank you! The wizard (or the gnome) his name is Avatar in the movie. I really enjoyed this movie and I wish animated films could still be made that way :p

I bet that would make a great T-shirt design! Very cute and expressive.

Ninjas aren't noted for sticking around to smell, or see, the spreading roses of blood on the linoleum... gotta respect the work ethic. Looks like this guy's got one more schwing to go yet. Great composition, elegant, and telling... in so much as a ninja likes to converse. Not.
