Those classic colors... the mood and stage is well set.

You did the audio too? It's okay.. a little over the top :) Seemed a little under-animated or drawn out initially, but the alien at the end was enough of a pleasant wtf moment, that it all kinda works! First animation huh? Nice job!

TZK-Violater responds:

The audio is Devin Townsend, It's a whole concept album about Ziltoid. You might look into it.

Allergies man. Feels like adamantium shards in your sinuses :p Excellent timing and action, nice pace.

Made with pride in sci-fi New Jersey, yay!

I was very thoroughly impressed. It's a real pleasure to see a movie like this: carefully produced, excellent gasp of conventional animation, and a compelling story that lasts for more than a minute!

Although the audio stinks in some parts, it might be worth taking this down and resubmitting, just to add subtitles and/or re-record some voices (like the big TF sammich eating guy). Consistent audio is big challenge, and it's enough of a factor here, to dock you half a star, sry.

Hope this scores well, it's awfully good!

So the story has finally come full circle, we finally know what led up to the events a few episodes ago, and we know that Beacon got a piece of Jordan's hair.... whoa.

3rabbitsproductions responds:

This is actually the same episode. It's just the last scene. There are three more full episodes in season 1 and when I get Good Guys cut together on youtube I'll send you the link :) And you will understand the abundant significance of Kevin Bacon having Jordan's hair in the next episode :) But it's not a good thing...that much is for certain.

Outro music is kinda louder than the piece itself, and no replay button means you have to wait til the end of the song, to be able to replay.... which you would need to do. Maybe adding a water noise when the human looks away the first time, would help this piece from looking too abstract, since it goes by rather quickly, and somewhat aimlessly. Why does the guy need the cat down from the ceiling, frustration at seeing it there, bumping into it, hair falling into lunch? Provide an example to start with, and the rest would've played out better.

Carbonwater responds:

Yeah, I forgot how loud Newgrounds can be, my bad. That's now fixed.
You can just simply right click and hit rewind, I thought everyone knew that trick. Also now fixed.
There's a fine line in writing between being too vauge and over explaining things. With the pauses i'm sure there's plenty of time to figure it out on their own without any hand holding.
The element of surprise is one of the best jokes out there, for something to suddenly appear between a cut or a pan takes the audience by surprise and makes them laugh.
And of course it's abstract, it's a cartoon. I don't see floating cats, do you?

D'oh! Why did the kid quit? If his Pop had fired him, he could've collected unemployment! Nice piece, excellent flow and nuance!

Brewster responds:

he he he thanks

Nicely done!

PhantomCat responds:

Why must you toy with my feelings so, love?

Good thing I watched this before getting high. I don't see anywhere where this was rushed, looks to be a solid episode of a much more sinister situation. Have faith, you're not alone!

MisterHerbal responds:

I'm glad you waited a bit to get high... and thanks.
