Wow, never expected a cameo from Kazoo! Great frame rate, story, voice acting/subtitles... I'm impressed! It could use more detail in spots, you know, like a hyper-rendered face or two, like you'd see in other contemporary animations. Looking forward to teh next episode!

Noisy responds:

Always grateful about your review, Vicarious.

The episode 3 (part 1) is actually finished, I just have to add subtitles...

Well, "just", because doing it with my old computer is a pain in the ass.

Whoa WhateverPlus1 sounds like JohnnyUtah O_o Pizza's a good VA too! The characters don't seem to have chins/jaws, but the pacing and scripting's pretty solid yo. Great first submission dude, hope to see more of you in the future. Really liked the action scenes, great moves!

NiddyGriddy responds:

Thanks! I'll definitely fix the problem with the chins and jaws!

This was one of the first few Hero School animations, yeah? Can tell you spent a lot more time on mouth movements, body movements and such.

Spock (or his proxy) should've stood up sooner, but that's okay. I'm wondering what happens to Indiana Jones (or his proxy) in later episodes. One of the benefits of writing an epic, is the amount of minute detail you can plant along the way... it really pays off on the second or third viewing of the epic.

A DIAMOND, THE SIZE OF A GRAPEFRUIT! Iron Lung steals the scene at the end, as he should.

Wow, Jordan sure had a brain fart, or was He-Who-Cannot-Act actually there? I liked how this one scripted out, Smart Guy was in the top of his social form... also kinda nice how he covers for Steele Reserve, calling her his sister. And ha, that explains SG's gaff at the party in Hero School, a few episodes back.

One of the benefits of telling a long story: the legitimacy of flashbacks. Pretty interesting way for Smart Guy and Steele Reserve (Anita Shot) to meet... still can't figure out why she's blue and naked. It's likely one of those questions that was intentionally left blank.

Love the train boarding scene... and the one that follows this submission, where Unkillable first meets his future companions.

This is likely the most crucial part of the entire epic. We now know what Unkillable must do, find and destroy all the movies Kevin Beacon put a part of his soul into, that's where his power and immortality come from. But about Unkillable's immortality, and his past with He-Who-Cannot-Act? Tune in next time!

Iron Lung and Steele Reserve begin their courtship, and the other guys are, well... quite an interesting party scene! This is an excellent aside from Jordan's plotline, really gives us a chance to see what the other main characters are all about.

To see how all the party goers fare later in the epic, the viewer will have to keep watching! It's been roughly 3 years since this came out, and all the episodes that follow this one, add up to one hell of a story!

The animation itself might be somewhat unambitious, but everything else, is not. The cinematography, writing, and certainly the VA work, is to be commended. This is but part of a greater story, one which surprises, right till the end.

I hope everyone who reads this, will take the time to hear and see the epic of Hero School, of Iron Lung and Friends. If you enjoy good story, look no further.
