The form and proportions are very sweet to look at :) Only, maybe the eyes and the pleats under the dress should've been drawn with a finer point. Quite a fetching little piece!

Clueless-queen responds:

thanks ^^

This is a deeply emotional piece, that depicts the Pico posse honoring a great game. I like the over the shoulder look by Nene, and the look of consternation on Darnell - great rendering!

Saminat responds:

I have the deepest respect for this game, it's so freaking good! Thanks for the great review hombre!

It's so rare to see this mottled style of coloring/shading, and done so awesomely as well!!! It looks so vibrant and alive, sucks I can't give this picture a higher rating. The subtle color change in the upper right leaves, make it even more realistic. Really great man!

Thanks! I usually stick to graphite and I've been trying to experiment with other mediums.

This came out really good. Position of the body, the fullness of the features... I see a lot of improvement in your work :3

LovelyKouga responds:

Thank you, I put more effort into this one than usual!

A brilliant piece, only hangup I have is the crotch. IRL, you very seldom see any light passing though, that high up on the legs, and never too big or asymmetrical a triangle either.
But this is an ethereal creature (dunno the source material), and wouldn't use her legs like a gravity laden human would, so my previous hangup seems moot. Composition, pose, effects.. all wonderful and new!

Quite comely and very groovy! Those (day-glo?) colors are so easy on the eyes. The line art looks so simple, but is instantly enjoyable. Really fun piece, thanks for sharing!

Independence Day, Titanic and Rambo? Kinda loses something without the original 16:9 aspect ratio, but the way you framed this, looks pretty good! The lighting and shading make everything nice and cushy feeling.
I sent in little stickers from my maxell VHS and audio cassette tapes, to get the original poster in the 80's :3

LeTravino responds:

Nailed it!

..Sadly, the only one people in my class could name was Titanic. Someone asked of the Rambo - "What Terminator movie was that", and when I said it was Rambo, he was like 'Oh, I didn't like Arnie in that one' and I facepalmed in front of class.

But thanks! .. I know, I goofed up on the 16:9 ratio D: My digital art teacher pointed it out, too, haha

Last time I was under, I was face down O_0... Another wonderful cartoon, colored and drawn in classic fashion.

My first thought was, "You drew this free-hand"? God, I'm so old! Title would look so much better if it were a little bigger, fill the space out more. Ground could use something to indicate the sniper's on the move, but the animation itself doesn't lend to such effects so.... idk.
Anyway, the likeness are spot on and shaded so lovingly! Yes, that's quite precise :3

I agree with your assessment. The bodies and hands are off-shaped in spots, however, ALL the elements of a kick ass picture are right there! Red, white and blue never looked so good together. Your current color shading techniques are light years ahead of this. Looking forward to more fantastical flights of fancy like this in the future!

thankyou :) yeah I wanted to share my old work with you guys so you can see if I improved. I also like to hear many suggestions as possible from different eyes and viewers. that way, I can expand my horizons more. :)
