Perfect. Although, I do wonder if the girls lips would shine as much as the other parts of her face, or in the same way... or if fixing that, would diminish the dynamic of the whole thing... just my second, first impression of the piece.

That ray of light is going straight for the head, uugh! Classic artists mistake: not plugging up the light-holes before sleeping!
They almost look like taro cards! It does look a little stark and amateurish, but it's vibrant and flowing... yeah, the hands are a tad artificial looking (proportions are off slightly on some fingers), but are awfully damn close to photo-perfection.
All the patterns and designs look fucking awesome! Not many people, old or young, can pull off that look//style! Looks way better than teh crap from the 60's, when artists played at that style, but never really pulled it off. Everything (the 4 'panels') looks very complimentary, after a moments consideration.
Heh, yeah, did you use the white-out on panel 'E'? Just over the hand?
Just love the letter-work! Flair is also a delicate art, which you do to fine effect!
yeah I was in 4 hour detention when doing the E and none of my friends were there that day so I got bored and ended up with that
thank you for the shiny nickel of a review! i think i got better since 7th grade xD
Oh wow, isn't this something!! The grain of the wood is striking, looks like some kinda dense-ass oak, that was around some 200 years ago. Doesn't look like lazy work to me, that's how good wood really looks (but not the inside of a weeping willow... it's kinda crappy yellow wood, with little to no grain at all).
Oh, that's a forefinger ring! Thought it might've been a shadow... trying find fault somewhere, but I can't. Even concept of drawing a tree, on the cut-up corpse of a tree, is an excellent notion.
Anyway, it's a well earned 5 star rating, and it's not 'cause I know you either :|
Actually kinda shocked it didn't take a full 8 hours to create something like this.
that was just the table i was working on lol wasnt supposed to be the inside of the willow.
oh theres lots of faults on the grain ._. especially on the bottom right corner
The background is formidable, but the girl is a bit shaky looking. Face is a just a tad long, the lines are kinda rough.. her nose (and the rest of her face) are a bit undefined, lackluster. The proportions, colors and composition look sweet!
If this is a frame of a animation/video, no worries, but as a piece unto itself, could use some polishing.
i just drew this really quickly to test how the sketchy lines would look with a background and color. I think I'll stick to outlining stuff since it takes longer to color in the sketches
OOOOoooaaaaaah! Just to be clear, the car is CG, the background is just a royalty-free photo, right?
Just stunning work! This is what automobiles are supposed to be: machines, not mass produced products. I've got a friend who's just getting into Blender... wait till he sees this!!
You are correct in your assumptions. I wish your friend good luck with Blender, it's a lot to learn.
Wow, I never thought the plot would go so far! Still lookin' good man!
Thanks again, I'm going to bump up production on this one too, needs to update at least every week, but again I'm juggling another comic. but that's no excuse says I. ROWR!
Truly pretty, and other-worldly. Brilliant composition and diversity of elements, even the dust density makes sense. With this in your portfolio, maybe a nice rich church would like a fresco similar to this (uh, forget I said that.. painting wet spackle must be an insane undertaking).
Fanfare for the common man.. or Rocketfingers. Truly sweet dude! Down with the globalist conspirators brother!!1
Yeah, that's not bad! It has a depth (especially the background) and presence. Thanks for sharing this, and how this was done (and on what)!
Thanks very much!
