I really like this picture. It looks a little scratchy, but what cat doesn't? Lighting aspects are nice, but you wonder where the light source is coming from... minor quibbles. A great first picture, on a rather complicated piece of software!

I guess it lacks context, the arm pattern is slightly distracting and maybe it wasn't rotated quite right or the talon claws are extended awkwardly... but this still kick plenty of ass.

Looks like if it were fabricated, it would work! The textures are spooky cool, but maybe the blue ball is the wrong color and a tad too small. Despite all the 'issues' I brought up, there's a lot to like here! Maybe if it were holding a bleeding bunny, we'd all be happy :)

PoisonHeart responds:

ah yeah, you're totally right there: them's claws are really wonky. i thought the ball looks misshapen because the toes don't line up right and are set inside it rather than around...and yeah, i see now: looks oriented wrong, not enough motion and textures sit funny.

i'm definitely not seeing a metal crow attached to that. i too love the textures most, and the lighting is pretty decent. but yet, for all the effort i put into the toe sockets or whatever, it still just looks like lumps of plastic. overall, looks more like a crane game claw than a crow foot. =/

Yeah, I got the vibe (subject matter: guy on guylike action) down pat before I even read your Author Comments.
This would freak me out proper, if this were in a novel I was reading, like a Stephen King novel, still twitching from the publisher O-o Definitely a very good aesthetic.

Nice, organic combination of things, teeth really stand out nicely!
Almost looks like the body of a human, is nothing more than a large virus.
The skull really sells it all, nicely done. Muted colors and vibrant shapes... gutz

Sherbalex responds:

a virus, i like that

It might have gotten out of hand (still wish the little heart was in there), but the details are properly sorted out and lovingly colored and shaded! Dunno how many total hours went into this, but you can see it's one of your more polished works.

Only criticism might be, the the guy on foot... his body should be leaning forward (while running), not back, however, it looks funnier this way!

Really like the look of fear and loathing, it's better than Johnny Depp could manage during the movie, which was awesome. Couldn't sit through the 'Rum Diaries' though... dunno why. Good book(s) though.

SerPounce responds:

Fear and Loathing was a really great movie, it was basically just a bunch of awesome shots without any bit of important plot.

It's rather good, although I think Chime's upper foot is a bit too limber, and the transition to the ankles a bit skinny looking. Hope she manages to land okay :)

This is really something bro. I haven't read Asimov in a long time, but this piece certainly will compel me to seek out the reference story... at least I know it's something my crappy library will have.

Considering what's outside my door ("junk"), this work is personally quite moving, since I'm the robot in this equation O_o It's an awfully large file, took a few tries to get it completely loaded, but I appreciate your work in general... Happy Robot Day, glad to see this piece did a double duty!

Butzbo responds:

I kind of broke the page somehow with the file, Hahah, I made it a bit smaller after realizing that.
thanks for the review!
