Love it, it reminds me of old medieval illustrations, like 'the garden of earthly delights' or something, but in a properly clean and modern rendering. Definitely worth pursuing, this sort of thing. Also like how you covered lion-man's junk, very clever/tasteful! The 3/4 transparencies of the bone and muscle, the hand, the central figure above it all, even the background all gel nicely.

sucho responds:

thanks, it was hard. i do love me some junk, but yeah i'm a big fan of Bosch and the like. the renaissance may have given us technique, but nothing forces the hand of creativity like the primitive earthy fear-mongering of the dark ages.

You made Hillary look a little better than she is IRL. Oh well, she says, http://iwilllookintoit.com/ but isn't that just white-collar talk for 'fuck off'?

Angry-Hatter responds:

Pretty much, yeah.

Very elegant, good interpretation of the character :)

K3MaMi responds:

???interpretation???? the fuck are you talking about. i just drew the bitch.

Takes a great effort to glimpse the actual cadaver. If nothing else, she's too sucked into the field to make out where her head is and how it's angled. I can find her upper torso, the texture of the field overlaps the corpse, killing just enough detail. Is her head the white bit that's looking right and up?

One of my favorites from the series :3 Colors look a little on the light side, boots a little on the dainty side, but overall, perfectly rendered and shaded in a great setting.

moawling responds:

She was one of my favorites as well! Yeah, admittedly, there are a some things that turned out a bit awkward with this (boots, wrist guards, capelette, etc.) so I'll definitely revisit this sometime in the future. Thank you so much! Your input is always appreciated.

That's one helluva portrait, perfectly idealized and composed! The proportions of the horse's back legs (and to a lesser degree the rider's legs) are a bit off, but it does lend itself to the fact, that the rider's not completely human and the horse is certainly not a common breed. 5/5

An automotive propulsion engineer's concept car from the future, yay! My first thought: the overall design has seeds in current supercar technology (mechanical output, with some electric recovery/delivery tossed in to increase BHP).

However it looks a bit too tall from this perspective; high center of gravity vehicles make okay SUV's but not sports cars, the tires almost looked tacked on. Also the cockpit looks way too small to accommodate a driver. In my old job, I used to have to build from drawings (much worse than this), and hoped they'd translate onto to the screen well.

A well deserved 5/5! Looks like a F-1/F-1000 kinda car, but likely would fall in the category of modified production/normal street car, with a body kit and an aftermarket tornado tunnel on the back... slightly Rat Finkish considering the mass over the back wheels :3

Kiabugboy responds:

WOW you seem to really know your stuff
To be honest, most of the parts i put in there is simply because i thought it looks cool without any knowledge of how it will actually work. Vehicles isn't something i'm an expert on :p but i find your advices helpful for me to remember next time. So thanks :D

It reminds me of something I was read as a kid, 'Dragon Soup' I think, must have something to do with the vivid imagination of a child... anyway, up close it looks scratchy, but when you observe it as a whole, wow, forest for the trees :O Yep, you sure nailed the proportions, as well as the dragon's position, challenging and telling at the same time. Very well done!!

Kinda low rez, but all the characters are faithfully rendered in a classic setting. I like how they're all looking straight ahead, like they wanna eat the viewer/cameraman!

Wanted to be a simple man of the Earth, enjoying art and literature, the bounty of the Earth. Instead, I have to fend against governments and principalities, global conspiracies and bad social engineering, ree, my autism
