Let's hope we both age so well! He looks much better without the perm and the spandex suit, that left little to the imagination. From the thumbnail, I knew I had seen this fellow before, just not that long ago!

These have been really great fun! Stuff like this used to go on in the Art Forum all the time, despite the fact we're all high strung, filthy minded misanthropes here (or so our rep goes)
So this is an artists game face? If nothing else, you captured yourself completely absorbed in your work, only glancing up to the ref pic/mirror/web cam for a little perusal. Most subject matter's always smiling or reacting to something, it's nice to see a portrait like this.
I think it's downright lovely. The line on the inside of the elbow is a bit thick, considering how she's extending her arm. The shadow of the farmhouse might be a bit too dark, when compared to the subject and the brightness of the field... saw your gif, maybe it's just that last color filter you put over it, or just me nitpicking lol
If there were finer lines/shading and more details in places, I'd have no problem giving this a 5/5. All your work is very creative, colorful and well composed, and I look forward to seeing more of your work in the future!
Thank you for the advice! I'll keep this in mind for the next painting I do.
I like the matching colors, and the background does a good job of framing the subject. Composition of subject and text seem a bit off, maybe the hair could use a bit of light shading, no big issues really. If the client was happy, then 5/5 :)
See, that's why I'm fans of both of you! His lineart and your color, was like joining chocolate and peanut butter together, a really sweet deal.
Aww thanks! XD
That shading is damn amazing. I'm glad you included some context into its creation in the author comments, and responded to the previous reviewer so well. Thanks for showing us your work and being honest with us!
Thank you :) and it is my pleasure to share my process with the community here. Since Im still learning just like anyone else here, i believe we can learn from each a lot more then we can on our own. That what makes the Art community unique and different then any other profession out there.
Good looking stuff! It's nice to see different settings/time periods/realities, as well as new/old fashion/technology/magic/whatever covers up the naughty bits.
