Really fun game, glad my limited brain figured out how to trip all the medals, very clever programming!

DeuxLab responds:

hahaha Thanks for your feedback and for playing~! Also, Congrats for Unlocking all Medals! I'm holding a small contest at my Facebook page where I'll mention the players who have unlocked all Medals, and you're one of them! :)

It's an especially good game, but I'm kinda hung up in the metal maze! If you don't know the color scheme going in, you'll get stuck in there with no way to recover (I'm stuck in a 4 room loop)! Also I felt there were too many color choices to cycle through and remember/or able to write down to solve it.

The artistry, background music and gameplay are all top notch, a very attractive effort. Had I known the maze was a dead end, I might've looked up the walkthrough sooner... should've known that otherworldly tech was creating some big gremlins.

krutovig responds:

Hi.
What do you mean "stuck"?
Cant solve it or you cant go out those rooms?

This turned out really great! I even found some unclickable symbolism in the backgrounds of some of these. Not everyone who participated, is listed on the Credits & Info part of this page, but their contributions to this collab, have not gone unnoticed or unappreciated ;)

Thanks to everyone who made a piece for this thing, it's fantastic!

TurkeyOnAStick responds:

Fixed the credits stuff, I was heading out immediately after I published the game!
Yeah, there's a few references I left out. I didn't realise how much stuff could be related to the Illuminati! I did some tweaking on a few pics to avoid confusion, so I hope I didn't offend some of the contributors.

Hope you get some vicarious joy for Christmas!

Took a little while to figure out the variables, but it's pretty unique! Both the artist and programmer have been on my fave list for a while, and neither of them have disappointed me. It's a little short/not too complex, but the music, graphics and gameplay are worth 5/5

molkman responds:

Thank you so much. XOXO

Fantastic story, justifies every day of that month, you put into this. No bugs encountered, or at least game freezing/incompleteable ones. Like a Babushka doll, the actual doll is revealed, even after the final medal is won, which is a damn nice touch... so many good touches! What inspired this story (and/or details), if I may ask?

SilverStitch responds:

Thanks, I really appreciate that! :)
The story originated simply from the name Samantha, and some-how my thought process built a layer upon layer until I ended up with a story!

I have to give this a low score, because there's no way to guess the combination to the box by the river, unless you click on Walkthrough, which seems unfair. 'Sleep' backwards and twisted into numbers is too much of a stretch, as is the word jumble for the second box (maybe if there was picture of a harp somewhere?). Also the horse stalls hasp didn't really look like a lock, that kinda threw me a tad...

Aside from that, the rest of the puzzles, art, gameplay and music were quite nice.

selfdefiant responds:

Well, there's no guessing required, the clues were somewhat obvious. If you spell Sleep like it's written you aren't doing it right. The word jumble was simple, almost too simple. There's only one possible answer other than the one given. This was too easy for most of my players. Sorry.

Ugh, needs a mute button! Normally I wouldn't review something meant for a little girl, but this is a good dressup, as dressups go... great backgrounds, awesome selection of, well, everything! The main character's head could use some refinement (to look more lifelike), but on the whole, not a bad virtual Barbie doll!

jenninexus responds:

Vic - awe man! That's what I thought at 1st.... and tried to put a sound on/off button but no matter my various coding attempts, it wasn't doing exactly what I wanted it to... :( lol.... thank you for the kind words and constructive criticism alike! In the end I figured game play time wouldn't be longer than the song (about 4 mins tops) & since I made the song for the game, left out the mute option. <3

..Sounds like maybe you think a mute button that doesn't allow you to turn it back on would be better than no button?

It could certainly use a pause button!

bioludus responds:

Thanks for your feedback! We will add a pause and a mute buttons asap..

Not bad, but really need a mute button for music and/or sfx. Also could benefit from slightly larger directional panels, there's a lot of clicking in these games! Another niggle: no keyhole showing on the hatch, why would I try using a key there? Seems like a well thought out series, congrats!

selfdefiant responds:

There's a mute button, bottom right. Thanks!

Fun game, you can press up near doorways to access the next level. Nice slice of Tom/Newgrounds life.
