Groovalicious! Didn't care for the vocal samples though, sounded too WWII-ish

AliceMako responds:

It's an old-ish liveleak meme that still cracks me up, you had to be there i suppose.

Originally i had this mainstream tune lined up for it but at the time my means of ripping samples was failing so i got around to it later and made this instead after a friend sent me the audio.

As for ww2 era indian people samples, i slapped ghandi on this http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/485508 but it's old so i hate it by now.

Very smooth! I thought the baseline could've carried more of a tune, like it kinda did toward the end. Nicely ambient, could make a great loop for a game!

kenki responds:

I honestly cringe when I hear this one. So much peaking, but I appreciate the love. :D

Whoa, I clicked on this and went about my work several minutes ago, and only realized now that it -was- a loop! Really nicely done, very easy on the ears - it's uncluttered, yet intricate enough to satisfy all the music taste buds while concentrating on something completely different, perfect for a game.

DiroNomer responds:

Thanks lol ;)

It's got a nice buildup of instruments and complexity... though I thought this would've been a Dire Straits cover, based on the title! Still, it's a got a nice combo of intricate samples towards the end of the song, crackin' good :)

AliceMako responds:

Consider it a tribute to that particular song, if not musically then it's spirit and implications.

Things being the way they are i suspect it will forever remain fashionable to gripe about wealth coming easy to a precious few and in the same sentence concede that money is printed out of thin air....

If memory serves, you remade this song (different submission), but this is the one I like best. The instrumentals accompany the lyrics perfectly. Wishing you the best of success, either personally or professionally :)

Wolftacular responds:

Wow, thank you man! I didn't remake it, but a buddy in here helped me remaster it. I plan to re-record it eventually with more time for better quality and stuffs. Thanks a bunch for the comment! I don't get many nowadays :)

Your ability to compose varied and symbiotic compositions, really shines best in this piece. Maybe if you're looking for a fresh approach, check out the waveforms of your most popular audio submissions... maybe you'll see a pattern? When I listen to instrumentals like this, I'm imagining myself doing great deeds, suffering, loving, doing things that accompany the music; a soundtrack for my delusions :)

Geoplex responds:

Composition is a funny thing, really. I feel like I used to be a lot better at it than I am now because I composed with some weird part of my subconscious that just did whatever I felt like doing. The more rules there are, the harder it is to make anything that I feel is of any value... though I do so worship the idea of "technically good." Not sure why I kept typing this just now but it felt right, lol.

The only patterns i see in my waveforms are the way I structure my drops and breakdowns, unfortunately :P It's an interesting suggestion, though.

I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for the feedback!

A march of joy, a parade of victory and life :) Nicely done mate!

Vdragonb responds:

Many Thanks ^^

It's very charming, but the background music is a little soft and tinny (could use some more bass). Actually, if you could increase the volume of the whole thing by at least 50%, it would be on par with the other submissions here.

ok.. :) thank you so much.. :)
