That's heavy man. Hope I'm not around to see anything like that go down, though it is a beautiful image.

thank you :))
It's seriously abstract, but from the thumbnail, it looked like a thick haired woman-thing. Wait, is that an eye and a beak I see? Hard to comment on work like this, but there's detail in it and a form... this piece is doing some singing!
Ha! Thank you sir, I appreciate your observations. Yeah it was funny, I stood up to take a look at my progress on a painting, and couldn't for the life of me figure out what in the hell this was, sitting on my desk. "Where the fuck did that porn magazine come from? Wait, that's not a porn magazine.."
Commissioned by who, the Illuminati? Looks like a doodle, but is definitely purposeful, advanced :)
This is what they actually commissioned; they wanted simplistic design but with medium pen grit and sketchy attire.
Than again...i'm glad that's what they wanted cause my style isn't that advanced for heavy detail yet.
You did a great job of coloring it! Looks very old fashioned and full of life! Some of the underlying linework could've been improved/refined a little, but this is a great piece! Lots of things to look at, and are composed well.
i will try, still need to learn how to draw hands. thanks thought
That is some hair job! I was going to say the more exposed cheek looks off, but it doesn't, it's just an effect of the lens being so close to the subject, if at all. 5/5 Good to see you back!
Thank you so much! I'm glad you like it.
It's a bit of an older painting so it probably actually is a little off in some ways XD
I realized that I was neglecting to put things on here because I tend to think of Newgrounds more for animation... so I've got some more art to post over the next few days :)
You've got the coloring and shading down pat, just need to improve the lines a little. Use pencil first, then ink/draw the most likely lines. Easy to say, not to do :) Really reminds of me the old 1970's Hanna Barbera cartoon characters (not Scooby Doo, Thundarr or the Hurculoids though)
Oh ok and thank you. I think why reminds you of the old 1970's Hanna Barbera's cartoon characters because I Actully still like watching Hanna Barbera's cartoon, I think they a lot of Hanna Barbera's cartoons I like but I can't remember.
It reminds me of Schwang-Schwing from MDK 2 in body armor. Looks positively brilliant, a very polished work!
thanks I have been playing around with cel shading
Is that what I can look forward to? Getting set on fire and handed a meager check (is that what the farmer's holding)?
He's holding nothing.
Holy pooper scooper, that's a -really- fringe movie! Surprised the gnome (was it Max?) isn't chomping on a cigar, color palette looks dead-on, though it's been a few years since I watched Wizards. It's always a sure bet, honoring the best of the past... as there sure is a lot of fan art of the new stuff out there :p Yay for short people!
Hahah thank you! The wizard (or the gnome) his name is Avatar in the movie. I really enjoyed this movie and I wish animated films could still be made that way :p
Excellent, all around! She can pick my zucchini whenever she likes ;) Background is wonderfully detailed, really sets the mood.
haha ! :D
thankyou so much :D
