It's a damn fine, detailed piece! Only thing that rubs me wrong, is the bridle mouthpiece... it usually goes behind the teeth. Still, the faces and expressions, and all the other elements, are top notch.

The tent and camp fire look a bit artificial, but everything else looks quite alluring!
It's been a good long while since I've seen a work like this, but I can't decide what elements are flaws, or on purpose... so that in and of itself is a good thing. Keeps us asking questions about the lady formed by her fears and worries. The implied text at the bottom suggests this is more or less a fully fleshed out piece, though it does look a bit undefined: in her kicked up lower leg (cut off at the knee), and her outstretched hand, which looks unformed or bird-like... the latter could use some definition.
Try doing one of these every few months or so, I'd be curious to see how they evolve!
This was a real shot in the dark experiment, I didn't have much direction just an idea. You brought up some really interesting points and expanding on a idea like this wouldn't be too hard and could be a lot of fun. I might actually create a few more of these.
Thanks for the review!
Everyone likes good, charismatic, iconic looking, action shots! Context doesn't have to matter, so much as form and overall style.
Hahaha I think you got it right on the nose! Action shots are a lot of fun I may do some more soon.
It feels like a real place, there's just enough detail, and in the right spots to make you believe! Gotta sweat the moon though, looks painted on, not enough nuance in the shading... but overall, it's damn impressive. Just keep staring at those reference shots before you dive in. Composition's killasweet, nice work!
glad you like it! And you're right, the moon looks like an egg and could use better coloring.
Holy shivers, that's good, classic comic book action shot! Not the driven, determined face one wears to combat, but the catwalk look, the one that says, "Bitch, that's my boyfriend, and you aren't having him!" Blah blah, looks like she's walking over a small moon though, but I guess the color will straighten that out. Good work!
That's wonderfully creepy!
Match made in heaven! Aww, almost needs a Louisiana license plate in between the sharks' teeth ;)
hahaha that would have been perfect! Something like "Shkrder" or a bumpersticker on the fin that says "redneck 4 Lyfe" :) also thanks!
The newspaper coloring/ink effect, really suits this piece.
