Very nice, though the 3 darkened (2 wombat, 1 ??) characters are sorta hard to read. Has to be the inciting incident.

Wombat slaves, prisoners... forced performers? What would set otherwise well cared for wombats to conflict? I may never know :(

Love a good perceptive piece. But even before this submission, I did, in sketchier hotel rooms, did put a piece of tape over the eyehole. Optics are a 2-way street.
