Had to think about that, it is a good question. I'll probably be back. despite the fact NG feels like a re-tread, and my comment response rate has been on a downward trend (mainly due to people leaving and/or being stuck up)... I don't mind reaching out to new and promising artists, just the time and effort it takes.

I just recorded a very crappy 13 minute long cover of Working Man by Rush. It's like crazy bad because I was learning it as I went haha. Like a good 9 minutes is just me soloing and the other 4 is me limping along trying to learn the song. Even managed to screw up that really cool ending...
Practice, record, listen to recording, record again... Maybe one day, I'll write up and perform/engineer a radio play, something I haven't done since the late 70's in grade school. Maybe something screwed up that's happened in my life... eh.

I ordered a massive aluminum wifi dish, should be here tomorrow. No more playing with tinfoil on my desk, yay! Last night I finally got the foil to get the signal, and for the better part of today, the neighbor had her wifi turned off... at least with a dish, I can really home in on whatever's out there... and hack it, if need be >:)

I'm just going to stick to Twitch since I can't use Periscope haha. Also no I haven't. Probably wont be working any Saturdays til it gets really busy. Around this time of year it's only busy during Spring Break. And thats already ended for schools in the area.
2 months ago Tom sent out emails to all invited, 350-450 people on the guest list, and it's probably grown a bit since then.
What the dish? Some assembly required, stick it on a tripod... 10 minutes if that. Aiming the thing's another matter, I'll just spin the monitor around, crank the refresh speed on the task manager's networking tab to maximum. The problem's gonna be accuracy - it's hellaaccurate. I'll snap pics when it's all working.

We had a tornado warning while I was at work and we had to evacuate everyone from their rooms and get them down to the basement. It just missed up but theres a town in Illinois that was more or less leveled but so far only one person is known to have died during all of that. There were reports of 70+ mph winds and golf ball sized hale. So...yay for that ._.

Techincally I should get a wifi card and plug the antenna lead into it, but since I blew 70$ on a dongle, I have that duct taped over where the cone-thing should be... works about as well as the tinfoil, only sneezing won't disturb it, or a cat 5 hurricane for that matter.... and yeah, was really worried about you! I heard the storm was worse south of you. Oh well, a little excitement at work isn't always a bad thing. What about your roof dude, pretty soon it's gonna either cave in or peel away!

Well good to hear it's all set up. Maybe at some point later on you can get the other stuff you need to get it set up better with the card and the antenna stuff. And oh. Yeah it was....it was bad north of me AND south of me. So I guess I lucked out big time. And yeah you're right (about the work excitement) and we were more or less completely allowed to be on phones for the rest of the night. But only really to keep in contact with family and whatnot. The roof is still bad. But it's holding on well enough. We just can't afford to do anything about it at the moment unfortunately...

I'm certainly not big people, only 5'5" :\ Lol, you keep saying that, about the roof I mean. Wow just realized there's 8 roofs between both properties here, and half of them got leaks, but 2 of them are lean-tos, the garage has a metal and tarpaper roof which can be sorta fixed, and the chicken coop, which I'll have to fix somehow...

I don't plan on getting used to it (fixed and reversed comments in blogs). I'm looking forward to a more modern website though, and it's been 3 years since the redesign... gonna try and convince Tom to get the bugs worked out, after game #4 and the portable version of NG are completed. I really like and admire the man, and agree (mostly) with his timeline/priority list. I just have an issue when it comes to fucking things up, like, the things I use every time I come on here....

I just like lots of buttons, bells and whistles. It's lame as shit voting when there's no incentive down the line: no blam/save animations, no secrets (other than the FP thing). NG has lost a lot of that RPG feel, I really miss that. It's gonna take more than double XP weekends to get my fizzy place fizzing again...
