Nah. The school decided to hold him back because his birthday is literally THE day school starts here. So it was some weird grey area thing when it came to his age.

Social promotion/demotion, I think they call it ._. I hope his school records reflect school policy idiocy, everyone's leery of 5 years in HS. Guess he'll only have to go half a day his final year, I mean how many credits do you really need to graduate?

He was held back back in I wanna say 3rd grade or something. So he'll still only be in HS for 4 years. He just wont be graduating the year he was SUPPOSED to. Which would be THIS year. He's going to be 18 in August and almost 19 by the time he graduates.
As for the credits thing. I honestly don't know.

My parents were seriously trying their best to not have him held back. But the school board eventually had their way and that happened....
Well he's a junior now. So if he'd have to completely skip senior year then.

This is why I miss just having that little Star icon up there. It showed new stuff from your feed and you didn't need to actually go into your feed to see what people posted and whatnot.

Yeah it's creepy when people who don't use the site anymore, show up for the party. There's a few people who stop by NG regularly enough though - and I made a new post, and since this comment and response are on the second page, it's as good as buried.
