Unfortunately all I can say is that I don't know what to say. :(

It's tough, and as you get older, your baggage gets more voluminous. At least I'm not as bad as my Pop was, at least there's a definable amount of space (2 12' Pack Rat containers)... where I'm likely to end up, is sooo small, gonna be a challenge being cooped up with no land for 6 months... but I'll be in range to feed the farm cats, and get them given away... they get smarter with each new generation

inb4 super-cute sentient space catgirls out for vengeance on the human race for 'killing so many of their kind'.

OHSHIT LEVEL: 900000000000000000000000000000000000000000

Lol, I actually watched Space Cat Cuties, or whatever that anime was :) Bodacious Space Pirates turned out to be another (better) good one.

Yeah, trials and tribulations... plus I found out I may have to pay a tax, for simply leaving the state of NJ

Wow! Just, Wow!

No wonder I kept my head down for so long... as soon as you try to do business in this state, all the vultures come out of the woodwork, to try and take advantage.

On the bright side: at least that place had wood-paneled floor! Some of us have to do with crappy plastic carpeting... I would've suggested colorful carpets, wooden furniture and pictures to combat the whiteout, but maybe that other place has all the paneling you could dream of!

Sucks about that mold, that can get to pretty unreachable places. We had some trouble with that once aaaand... moved out. Yeah.

I broke the lease yesterday, and am waiting to sign another one, in a much cleaner place, it all depends on whether the closing/full payment for the farm, takes place, as it could be delayed or even cancelled :| My sis wasn't too clear on the details, so I bought her a big cup of coffee and flat out asked a little while ago. I'm not on the dole or have a steady job like my siblings, my situation is a bit more tenuous :\ And since I'm self employed, the new potential landlord is wary of renting on a month by moth basis, so I gotta cough up the full lease amount... could've had one my siblings co sign, but it didn't seem like a preferred option to the real estate agent/ landlord.

I'm sure they make UV C lights that are fiber optic/ small and remote, so you can kill mold/bacteria in hard to reach places... it won't kill mold that's under the surface, but if it's kept dry, it's a good solution, short of starting over from scratch. They use lights like that to sterilize water, as it passes by the light fixture. A few companies make units that go into air conditioning ducts, so any lingering humidity is free of bugs

Ah, hope for the best! What do you work with btw, if you don't mind the question? Any freelancing with video/audio/production/etc?

Sounds simple and efficient! Most mold-removing cases I've heard of are ones where they just tear out all the insulation and/or carpeting and/or paneling and/or etc, dry it, and put it all back together again with better materials/air vents/other improvements to reduce future humidity build-up or leaks.

I used Hi8 and studio cameras to capture the action, then edited it (via cassettes and printed titles mostly, but still looked plenty legit) - weddings, consumer research, bands, non profit TV shows. That was a long time ago, and using much more primitive gear than is available now.

Yeah, you're describing the best way to fix the problem: replace what's susceptible or infected w/ mold. The UV C lights are expensive, but yield results best with recirculating air, water treatment... normally that band of light doesn't penetrate the atmosphere or normal glass...

Did you know that vultures are actually pretty delicious when prepared properly?

Try the Greedy Vulture Pot Stew today!

Ugh, must be like eating secondhand road kill... with a lil MSG, everything tastes tasty
There's a few slow cook cat reciepes I wouldn't mind trying.. though cats usually eat cats or other euthanized/foundonroaddead animals, via modern cat kibble :|

Aha. Though, I meant what do you do now? Do you still freelance? How do you make a living? Assuming you're not currently involved in some shady business unfit for online postation...

Mmm, good info. On a somewhat relevant topic, is moldy cheese common in the US? As in blue/veined cheese, whatever you call that stuff over there.

My Pop spent years hoarding, so did his mother (though not nearly as bad). In the 2 years since his passing, it's been a cleanup effort. Nah, I'm a legit loafer with a bum back - problem is the local economy, which is almost all 'service industry' like flipping burgers, managing those who flip said burgers..

Bleu cheese? Wisconsin is the cheesiest state in the union. The top 6 or 7 most popular cheeses are available at most non Walmart/Tesco food shops, the other are usually stocked by Italian, Greek, food supply shops. If you store bread under the highest point of a roof, mold is reduced...

Hope everything works out. You have been such a great inspiration and help for me. Destiny is ALWAYS yours! :)

Thank you very much, honored producer of content :) But what about free will? After the peak of the new moon this month, ancient records and prophecy say the world will undergo a massive earthquake, lose what little is left of our EM field (the the poles begin to shift), and quite a few people on eastern shores will be quickly flooded, also a bigger planetary tilt/clocks, calendars, meaningless, as the day is 25 1/2 hours...

The Mayans were correct, but were 2 years too early, small error considering the advanced math, or else, the info was made to appear that way - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plausible_deniability or junk science... idk, hope for the best, expect the worst I guess.

Must've been a ton of stuff! Our family's a bit split in our hoarding efforts, constant tug of war between keeping and fixing or throwing and buying, but junk does pile up fast. Especially if there's room for it to pile... hmm, all about supply and demand, I hear there's always lucrative business opportunities for public speaking if you have something to speak about!

Nice. Do you happen to have any of that 4-40 year old cheese they apparently only have in the US too?

More like over a dozen metric tons, really. Still quite bit here, but it matters to me less and less.

No idea, sounds like strong stuff though.

That's some heavy junk! :D I assume a lot of vehicular parts/machines. We're mostly packing papers ourselves. Books, magazines, work/school work/random collectible memorabilia, crate after crate after crate on three separate locations...

Mmm, I'd love to try it some time. Random article on topic: http://host.madison.com/business/cheese-lovers-rejoice-recently-discovered--year-old-cheddar-to/article_941f88b6-f219-11e1-af20-001a4bcf887a.html

Not so many parts, but... enough to fabricate small things. Trying to salvage the 7 basic tools and such.
But yeah, lots of comic books, VHS tapes, record albums, stuff to play and view said things.

I'm still in the garage (rental house) next door, since the channel she's on matches her brother's wifi... so I'm pretty much on a bare minimum NG rotation here - vote 5, check this page and split.

I just hate that it reeks of stale beer in here, what a bunch of miscreants |: It would've been nice/practical to store some of my stuff here, but I'll be lucky if this laptop and monitor are here next time I drop by

Asterix? :P Comics are probably my biggest collection right now, 23 full years of Agent X9 amongst many others! I gave away a couple of boxes full of VHS though, didn't seem like much potential future use for them, just kept home-recordings and rarities. You know any secret ways to prevent those tapes from aging?

Mmm, pretty much my routine all through 2009-2012.

Sounds like you could use some cheese! Effective destroyer of all potentially distracting smells! Yeah, hope for the best with that newly ordered technological evolution.

I've had to take to reading Asterix lately, since my 2 southern neighbors are sharing the same wifi channel... along with half the neighborhood, whoever the fuck they are! VHS? Just watch them every other year, or just fast forward and rewind them - the biggest killer is heat and/or temperature fluctuations. Heat causes the electrons to leave the tape. When they went back to remaster MASH the movie, they had to heat the film, just so the audio would play back :\

Oh man, for the past 6 hours, it's been nothing but gas, gas, gas, diarrhea, gas, gas, and it all smells like the weird pasta dish I had this evening - not good, no sleep. Every 5-15 minutes, a major fart, then the cramps started around 3:30 this morning. Not happy.

Hmm, and someone's actually paying for that wifi...

Nice advice on potential VHS preservation methods! We get temperature fluctuations on around 20C between summer/winter (indoors), so I guess that can't be too good. Though never a rapid change. Haven't played a VHS in years, hope they're still OK...

Oh man, sounds like a pretty shitty situation. Get well!

Considering she's renting there cheap, and I've kept her lawn mowed at no additional cost....

Looks like you ate rotten pasta.

Time for detox and rehydration treatment.

Tummy's been fucked since Wednesday, either due to the new computer parts (there was some kinda gritty dust on the kitchen table afterwards) or the crap food since then. I don't like light brown poop :|

I'm drinking this Gatorade that smells like floor cleaner... it's been in the fridge since the summer, sigh.

so to compound your problems even more you're the one afflicted with the brown rain this year -_- I've been having the runs lately too, though not as bad as last year...did you beat my personal record of 25 times/day...hopefully you have some apple cider vinegar handy

I eventually found a bottle of generic stuff, and that did the trick (over the course of yesterday, I spiked everything I drank with it)... probably used the last perceived bottle, boiling hot dogs... it seems to help idk, also use a spoonful in the slightly drained/diluted sauerkraut too. Gotta watch though, strips the enamel off your teeth a bit quicker than soda does.

Hm, thankfully no record beaten, though in my experience, probably the fartiest on record, thank Gob no cramps at least. About a dozen times on the bowl daily avg. for past 3 days, some false alarms.

why are you eating hot dogs on a bad stomach dude!! bananas, rice, apple sauce, toast mother f*cker

yeah cramps are the worst

2 months ago, before my sis (who trained as a nutritionist) got here, I made most of my meals at home... I haven't had hot dogs in a while actually, but yeah, I'm way behind on fruits and veggies :(

Just hope it isn't C-Diff. I haven't leaked like this since I drank that crap for a CAT scan of my insides... no one said it was cancerous, or would turn my turds into a waterfall for a week |:

Did you know that fecal transplants can be used to treat C. difficile

Transplants? I thought you basically ate a poop milkshake made from a healthier/more resistant persons feces... you mean, like from colon to colon?!

hell no...just shove sh*t (preferably a relative's) up your rectum to restore the normal fecal flora...although i think they make fecal gel tablets now

Yeah my (even sicker) sis were just talking about it... it's radical stuff, tons of variables and extra genetic factors involved, you know, those bacteria we pick up in specific areas, or from parents. Smashing stuff :)

Been out of the VicariouE blog lately, did you got better from your venture on that 2 wheeler, do the ribs still hurt?

I see so you got out of the moldy house, to be fair the kitchen doesn't "looks" bad, it is spacious and empty i guess; Did you take any cats with you?

Are you still on that condo?
Is that garage next door to the condo, or to the farm?
It seems you also got gastrointestinal problems, man a lot of bad shit going on, pun intended i guess.

Rib(s) were fine up until a vigorous rubdown 2 weeks ago, but it's back to no pain at this time... the loosening of the stuff in the area of the fractures probably helped a bit, as does the occasional heavy labor in moving things.

I never moved into the house pictured, I'm still on the farm.... waiting for news. It looks like the buyer is still interested, but the 'timeline' of events, is off - in fact, we were supposed to be out of here today, so the buyers could have 48 hours of uninterrupted access, free of the sellers (my sis and I) hovering around.

I called the lady today and told her I couldn't commit to a 6 month lease at this time, since I have no idea when or if we're closing (selling). A 2 week delay in soil samples (due to rain) really pushed everything ahead by leaps and bounds...

That brick building (barn) is right behind the farm house... though we never used the front door of the farm house to enter and egress, since it faces the road...

Really you broke your rib(s) and it healed by the power of activity and movement?

Man that deal is filled with unpleasantries, it is almost as if the whole event wants to be as tiresome as it could possible be.

Damn, so how is the search for the new farm going?

... read that the first time as "since it feces the road"; i see so you are back at the farm for the moment, well at least you don't have to pay rent that way, that's something i guess.

Oh, I was careful not to put too much stress on it.. 2 fractures 2 many, but mild exercise is much better than if it were taped or bandaged tight, in fact it would be more risky, as pneumonia could set from restricted breathing.

..that's about as succinct and as accurate a description, as I've ever heard.

Hm, kinda holding off on that until after the farm's clean of 'unwanted stuff', and since it looks like they're renegotiating the price of the farm, no telling how much or little I'll get. I was told about a real little place in a very rural part of PA for about $30,000, but I don't even have that kinda money now

...and the costs of living keep going up and up for me. Certainly this big and hurried push to clean up and get out, has cost me way too much already, I will not be as generous in the future |:

I will infiltrate the empire, and when they least expect it, stick a mind-control module on their heads and make them do the monkey dance and we'll upload the footage to the internet!.

We'll make millions off ad-revenue! Har har har!

Eh, the internet's a mug's game man, it's like trying out for the major leagues, odds are totes mathmaticaly nada. Newspapers, radio, TV and cable (and lobbying) is where the smart adbux go

Just got done watching Starship Troopers with Paul Verhoven, commentating about a Fascist bomb going off across the street in Holland, while his family was having dinner during WWII... he was really small, but he remembered the unburied bodies in the street. Perhaps this last paragraph is on subject?
