ahh everyone knows Dave Brubeck! And the famous Take Five tune. Strange Meadowlark and Blue Rondo a la Turk are other good ones. Can't remember the names of others but I rented a couple of his CDs from the library. He actually passed away fairly recently which was unbeknownst to me.

so cowboy bebop actually has a bebop or jazz themed soundtrack

RE: nietzlawe- but if the workers don't enforce the law, they can't buy food. And if the enforcers of the enforcers don't enforce the law, they can't feed their family. Plus they have drones lol.

You mean 'borrow', right? Sometimes I forget a book or DVD is due, but I don't mind paying the fine, I just chalk it up as a 'rental fee', since, for some reason, they don't take donations over the counter... mainstream hipsters are gonna kill the world |:

Oh hell ya!! At least 3 big CD's http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Music_of_Cowboy_Bebop I got most of them before Verizon began packet sniffing the torrents, much like all the other big ISP's |:

Yeah middlemen, no matter the occupation (in context, lol), have a sever dislike for being sidelined.
I should just get a land based drone to deal with the deer... afraid the wind might destroy an expensive chopper, as I'd have to use it often, and with a camera (too lazy to look out a window)

Ok dude!

Yup, thanks for visiting... sometimes I think I was already too old for this site when I joined up in 2001.

^this is the face only adorned by only the most dangerous, unrelenting, heinous, merciless hackers. If you see your profile picture changed to this contact an admin immediately and watch your cornhole, buddy.

Downright creepifying :| Nah, I got lucky, nothing changed, though I did try the exploit the way it was described, to no effect, other than my own icon :p

Your new avatars got attitude! :P Heard they switched it out for you earlier, but it's not this one though is it? Which one did you get?

No, I wasn't affected, seemed like only certain forum users got hit with furry and or pokemon. I just tried using the same hack, and it stuck to my icon instead. I love simple hacks like that, reminds me of the old days, trying to hack the old Dow Jones server in the late 80's, at school.

believe it or not but i swear i visit your page 1-3 times a day O.o EVERYDAY :P
when i bookmarked NG i did it while i'm on your page , so whenever i wanna open NG i have to visit your page first :3

I don't need the ad-rev, and it's certainly a lot more lively on your page :) Next time, homepage this instead https://www.newgrounds.com/ go in the secure door, bypass some ads!

I had lively days too http://vicariouse.newgrounds.com/news/post/697188

uhh i didn't mean to make an ad to my page here :\ i truly just wanted to say hi and tell you that :(
i don't wanna change it i like passing by your page everyday :P
nah i've seen better days when i was animating madness combat :\
woah :O

Heh, sorry, I guess that did sound a little harsh... it's just that there's others who could use the pageview everyday (once every 24 hours) more than I could. You need a lot of different ppl looking at your stuff each week, to earn anything. I've made 75 cents in the past 3 years or so....

steve i would really appreciate it if you deleted that one last comment from the 10,000 post because it makes it have 201 pages and it just ruins the perfection so please im begging you please delete it (think of it as a late birfday present if not anything else)

Oh?

Fuck yeah, original Spyro! Seems out of place with all the pixelated Asterix's, but I can't complain. You know, I still find it amazing that the drummer for the Police did the soundtrack for those games back in the day. Man, how times have changed.

Also, I've noticed your next news post will be #100; are you going to do something special for it?

Cyberdevil sent me here http://www.spriters-resource.com/ and I found quite a few sprite sheets, most of which were done long ago. Really? Huh, kinda like NIN doing the soundwork for the first Quake game... luckily the trend seems to be picking up. An even before that, Journey, Kiss and other bands did music for their own video games/pinball machines. http://www.arcade-museum.com/

Probably an after action report on Pico Day next week... if I survive the outing. Then I might make an index post (or do that first, then Pico Day), then a pictorial post of all the commissioned work I've received from some of the artists here.... that'll be a doosey to do with links and all :p And then I promised to do one of some ancient gifs I have.....

do you even spyro

asterix doesn't even have a video game! right?

Nah, wait, yeah I played the original Spyro once at a friend's...

O_< Oh yes, many crappy 8/16 bit sidescroling games, but the best one I had seen, was Arcade Asterix.

p.s. @Happy-Little-Trees talk about owned dude...you don't just delete an NG legend's comment like that.

IKR?

Hello! Thought I would stop by and say hi!

Yay, a chick on my blog, hi, hope the game is going okay! After the office party next week, and a lil while after, I'll be making a grand commission page, which of course, you will be in! I'll put a link to it on my BBS sig, so hopefully all the artists featured will get a tad more exposure!

hows that being owned? lol

It IS my post though! I could always go back to talking on it, close off the comments on all the other posts.... you still got comment #10,000, ya know?

hi XD

Hello dear :)

you weren't owned...i just like to say silly things every now and then. some people would say more often than not.

Eh, more like contraindicated than silly :) still brings a smile though!

rainbow dash dress-up? i have lost ALL respect for you lmao

It had to die |:

oh you blammed it lmao. when you said "all in day's work" and "but it will be done" i jumped the gun and assumed you made that hehe

Oh good gobs of gravy, of course not! If I could handle Flash, I'd probably do a lame choose your own adventure thing, like the kids books in school, most of which were actually pretty good.

And congrats on the 100th comment, you may collect your cookie at NGHQ next Saturday.......

I am the One in 101 Ò_Ó

Ha, I thought you meant Vault 101, like from the original Fallout... very worthy game, even though it's 20 years old, I saw 2 new walkthroughs in 2007. Sevenseize is bonkers for Fallout :)

I have only played Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas. I didn't like the first one too much and went with zero expectations into New Vegas, which is now one of my favourite games of all time. Guess I will give the classic ones a shot at some point, I have them from when they were free on gog.

Regardless, what I said was a loose reference to a promo from the wrestler CM Punk:

Yeah, I guess you had to 'be there' for the original. So, Fallout New Vegas is your favorite? Everyone else said it wasn't nearly as fleshed out as 3 was... but I'm going to play it regardless :)

Ah! I used to love wrestling, even watched the Undertaker. But not long after the WCW went bye-bye, and it all became a monopoly... At least wrestling's more honest than politics.

Yeah, I like Fallout New Vegas much more. I think partly because I find the setting more interesting. Not spoiling too much but I also like the main story more in Vegas, same goes for the sidequest, of which some are just incredible. What you will find out that is that your choices, pretty much all of them, matter and will influence and get referenced in the ending, much different to the ending of Fallout 3 that was very lackluster. There are also factions and you will have to take a side at some point, and trust me, that will not be an easy choice. I promise you will want to replay this game to see how different the other factions ways are.

I actually started Wrestling because of the Undertaker, my father showed me some episodes and I didn't like Wrestling at all, to me the guys all looked boring and the same. Then the GONG hits, the arena gets dark and the Undertaker, pale and with purple gloves makes his entrance. I have been a fan ever since, with varying following of the product.

More replayability then, and an old GTA 2 style Respect o' Meter (lol)? Sweet! I did read a few things about the 3 factions in Vegas, and the separate endings. The first true PC/RPG game I ever had, was Wasteland for the Apple II. Got it mail order, and was not disappointed. First game I... no, I hacked the Haley's comet game, but so did the winner, lol. I saw the winning time in the newspaper, and just knew a follow up article wasn't far off. Took forever to get my 'game completed' certificate. Wonder if I still have it?

I still remember when Andre the Giant was still in the ring, The Sheik... good times. Although I'm sure some of my back problems are due to wrestling my cousins in front of the screen, and those throws we practiced at day camp, in shallow sea water.
