I don't feel like making a new post

Posted by VicariousE - March 10th, 2012

I don't believe everything this video has to say, but it's pretty neat to look at, and should run smoothly on your equipment.

Comments

LOLZ. Cheeseburgers.

That picture should've been in the last post, but... still gotta watch your step. Every year I read a story about someone getting sucked into a septic tank 'cause some cheap-ass put plywood over the top of the tank.
Anyway, it's more of a cautionary statement...

Lazy comments for a lazy post :l. Are you proud of yourself now Vic, lolcat and bieber down there are living it up in this barren wasteland.

...like a caged animals running around free for the first time. Those are usually the first critters to get picked off my predators, aren't they? Sadly, the people who control our food and water realize this too...

my reply to your reply to my comment i left on your last post.

okay
and yeah i know
i mean yeah its a Javelin
but id only spend that much if it were in halfway decent shape and not covered in dents and rust

damn you people for not giving out cookies
thanks that helped a lot -_- haha kidding
im probably gonna get clear because i have a Frost The Snowman 45 thats in red vinyl from like the 50s that i got for christmas. along with a beach boys 45...

i dont entirely remember but i know i have more than half of the money for the plane ticket. no clue for the paperwork or the shots (shots o_o i hate shots im afraid of needles)

Shame, the Javelin's a nice looking car (it's on my last year's calendar of AMC cars) You still see their 4x4's up in the mountains on the West coast, so they must've done something right.

Yeah, I've noticed the dearth of cookies myself - no collegial betting on intellectual stuff hereabouts.
Some of those little 45's are worth some bucks. I've only got a few colored vinyls.

Don't sweat the shots (you'll probably need childhood vaccination records), but the passport you should get now, 'cause they take a while. When I get some bucks together, I'm getting my papers in order. It's starting to feel like pre-WWII Germany up in this bitch....

yeah...
someone my dad knows has like 5 of em
and hes looking for more

well next time ask for a cookie in exchange for the work
they are...but i dont know how much mine would be worth
i also have a Firehouse 5 Plus 2 45 in red vinyl too
but those are my only colored vinyls...
ive never seen clear vinyl in person though
only in pictures...
but high on fire vinyls tend to go up in value...

im pretty sure i can find the childhood vaccination records somewhere...
but im seriously VERY afraid of needles o_o
i would...but i dont know where to get one...i mean i probably do but my memory is crap hahaha
you're getting your papers in order?
why?

I was just finding a link to a car museum I've been to and accidentally copied my web address (newspost #) to yahoo's search bar. Every post and everyone I've talked to came up.
There's no record kept at Newgrounds of who you responded to, that I'm aware of.
I don't think was possible before google cross indexed all its shit....
As I'm closer to Edsion's lab, yeah, got scrolls, 78's and 88 and 1 or 2 100's (I think). I'm sure a museum or preservation society would be interested.

Better safe than sorry.

I didn't feel like making a comment then.

I don't blame you.

Timmy got mutilated in the escelator again.

Them baggy jeans with the raggedy bellbottoms'll get cha one way or another.
Bush trimmer ate my jeans. Brush Hog shredded my shirt.
I almost got sucked into a tractors nuts.

I didn't feel like I should stop making posts...

I wish I have your feeling. I make posts non-stop for 2 days... >.< it's like a drug addiction!

Dude, you got things to say that matter, that's probably why you can't stop.
You work and live in a constantly moving world. Your insights are helpful, so you budget time to write them down, to save some other poor bastard from making the same mistake.

ive never been to a car museum...weird right?

and i didnt know that about the responding thingy

hmm...wasnt aware they made 88s and 100s...shows how much i know hahaha

and yeah i guess...

The best one I went to was in Murdo, SD. Their website picture don't do the collection justice.

Yeah, if you check your user name on yahoo, it pulls up everything you've posted or commented on using that pseudonym... I don't recall that happening a few years ago. I'm a little freaked that the search engine's tendril reach that far...

I didn't check the speed of the wax cylinders, but the records went to 80 RPM http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gram ophone_record#Speeds , so I was mistooken too.

If you don't have a credit card or a passport, most banks don't want your business (thanks 9/11, you gave those fucking bankers every opportunity to fuck us citizens).

Ya know I like your comments. You always put effort.

Yeah, I know how to put out, thanks ;3
And why not? I'm old and unemployed, so the least I can do is say it like it see it.
Just wish I could unsee a lotta shit...

I am laughing for the picture
also your comments are very good

It's like they said in the Hobbit movies, "Once you step outside your door, you never know where fate will sweep you"
You know, I mistook your birthday for "thdark"'s birthday, when I wrote him a review for one of his works. He's a pretty reclusive sort, but responded to my review... with some question marks at the end. I wrote on his blog page about the screw up... maybe he'll do a picture of the Battle of Yorktown like I suggested. He's a good artist, to be sure.

hmm interesting...

thats kinda creepy
but now i can see the stupid crap my brother did while i didnt have my computer and he did stuff on my account while i wasn't in the room -_-

thats weird...
how do you play them? do you just play em at 78 rpm? or what

well...i dont have a credit card
(never really wanted one...)
and i still need my passport too...
crap :/

The creepy part is, our IP address is linked to our NG names. What're we gonna say when our government goes completely Nazi? "I must've left the computer logged in and someone broke in and typed those things?"

Well, I've got a record player next door, but it's the size of a hope chest or bigger. I remember it had lots of obscure settings. Even my cheap plastic portable player had a 78 RPM setting on it, but the ones that came later just had 33 and 45.

If you don't pay off credit cards very qickly, they zap with with mafia style interest rates... it's disgusting. Better get on the passport though - it might take up to 6 months or more, and with the summer holidays coming ....

Thedark is a gimmick.

What? Someone took over his account?
Is it bot? If it's a consumer research app, I'm quitting this taco stand!

Nah hes just a fake alt or something. No one liked him so he said he gave his account to a friend after whinig about how he has none. I dont know what a gimmick is but its something that can get you banned from the bbs which he shouldve been.

In the real world, you change names 'cause of the law, creditors, spouses. Was either guy banned before? I know people who've switched or run an alt... it's when you have to duck your own actions online that's almost bannable.
My BBS banner says it all "No matter where you go, there you are." Running away from yourself just prolongs the misery of being you... I think. I'm no religious or theology professor
A gimmick is a sham run by a thief. Poser is we'd have called him in the 80's.

hmm...that would be REALLY hard to explain what happened with that...
well i sure would be in a predicament then hahaha
considering the weird stuff my brother looks up on the other computer because we share IP addresses since im connected to the internet via a router in the other room connected to the other computer.

ive got like 5 record players. 3 that are about the size of dressers. a i think Fisher Price one from the mid to late 70's that works even though it was in a garage with little to no roof and a car my dad sold to his brother which he never did anything with (1964 Ford Thunderbird green) the only thing wrong with that record player is theres something up with the arm and i need to see if i can go somewhere and get parts to replace for it. the last one i got for christmas i wanna say...3 years ago it plays: vinyls, cds, cassettes, and it has a radio in it. i wanted this one that can record the music on the vinyls and burn them onto cds so just in case if the vinyl breaks id still have the music.

thats the main reason i dont want to get a credit card. if you miss ONE payment they hit you with astronomical amounts for interest and it takes YEARS to pay it all off.
and crap...i should go get that passport soon...

Sure it isn't a wireless hub? A router syncs two or more computers together to make a LAN, as in LAN party, where the racing shoot 'em up games don't experience lag.

Maybe the metal supporting the arm got bent... Fisher Price always had replacement parts at Radio Shack, needles anyway. I think we have a recordable 8 track here still, another Tandy product. Yep. Nothing like s good can opener for the music media.

Also, if you don't use the card, they take it away. I think Nixon made an agency to regulate credit cards, from one State to the next... another useless tool of the people. It'd be neat if you could hook up with a genealogy expert from Norway, who's interested in your area's ancestors. Wild idea, I know, but my sister had to speak with a dude from Denmark or Scandinavia... Anyway, take your ADD pills and get to work!

I miss my old timey looking record player. And my other one with murdered.

I bet the DVD player killed the other turntable. The high and low pitches noises that come out of a good record player are just orgasmic. It's incredibly difficult to replicate digitally. ...And Justice for All on vinyl sounded impeccable. I have an early Cheech and Ching album, and you'd swear they were in the same room.

Was*

Was Not Was. More 80's music references...

I kept two because one automatically made the levels perfect but didnt play some damaged vinyls correctly. The dead one was old and beat up but played everything and had equalizer switches. My dad left it on the ground and my neice tore the apart.

I used to be good at tearing things apart and putting them right again.
The biggest mistake I made, was getting rid of this big old Kenwood. Got it used and it worked a while, 'till I couldn't turn the speed up anymore. A new motor was not out of the question, but after a time of looking, I gave it to the dumpster.

positive. and i checked both computers and we now share an IP address...

i already checked that. im probably going to bring it in somewhere to see if they can check it out because the turntable still works and so does the different speed settings and all of that.

hmm...i could do that. if i knew what my families name was before they came here that would help out a lot. because my last name isnt possible to be in Norwegian, because Kupia can speak Norwegian and she said that Th (which is the first 2 letters of my last name) isn't used in that language. then i found out that some people from Norway that came here changed their last name to mine but thats all i could find. but im really tempted to do that so i can find out if i have any relatives there or something which would be pretty cool. im also German and Irish (mom's side of the family Norwegian and something else on my dad's) so i could go to each of those countries to see if i have any family there.
and i dont have them anymore D':
they stopped my prescription out of nowhere and i dont feel like going somewhere were i could go get another prescription.

I guess the bigger issue would be in my court - the lab technician's report of my 2dn MRI says no obvious trauma exists. However, the insurance company picked the lab, and the scan itself doe not pick up various biological effects, only structure (and not even distance or measuring for symmetry.
There ghosts in the machine, both man and man made. Wish I could culture bacteria and a good microscope (and probably a camera attachment, so the pictures could get computer cross checked). There too much specializing in medicine... just keeps them all ignorant.
Yeah just a thought. You're only as good a student as you want to be, I guess. I'm not exactly living up to my potential either. I really only seem to do good, when I'm doing something that can be shared.

oh...so what does that mean for you then?

dont really know what else can be said right now...
im going out and getting Kupia some stuff for a late birthday gift...
her bowler hat got here i wanna say...3 days ago? and im going to give it to her when i get the rest of the stuff im getting her :P
im going and getting her a few cds and a movie (her favorite movie too Phantom Of The Paradise)
i already ordered the movie and i need to get the money and send it off to the people so i can get it in the mail. and im going to get the cds tomorrow.

I'm gonna cll the lawyer and see if he's got any other referrals, 'cause the head doctor was a bit slow on the uptake, but honest as far as his capabilities are concerned. It's probably bacterial.

I was a cheapskate with women, though I'd pop presents when they least expected them... I'd rather do it that way, then to be expected to deliver an winner everytime. Hope she gets it soon.

wat rly amazed me bout that movie was how they got "Timmy fell down the well and cant get out??" from just "Barkarffruff" he probably just wanted the camera-hidden biscute in their hands
oh and hola

Maybe they lojacked Lassie and they watched it go down on remote.
On Mr. Ed, the horse had bits of glass installed so it would grimace on cue... before that it was an electrical charge, which he got used to.
Como sta? TCB, eh? Good to hear!
