Had a substitute back cracker yesterday that popped the gas outta a lot of cartilage... still a bit shaky today, but everythings still working. Turns out he's local and did a few farmers I know.
I've heard Mudvayne before... never lived in France so the French bands are beyond me. Though I have a buddy out West who's lived there a while, but his music tastes are everywhere... he does like Sepultura.
Still wish I knew what I pressed on the keyboard to get the text modifying console up (newest Firefox) - it was some shortcut that had bold, italic, underline and some other widgets....

i need to find a way to get my back cracked or something. that might help a bit since it always helped my back while i was in school (while sitting at desks i put my hands on the edge of the desk and pushed myself back and cracked my back on the back of the seat).

I find it very difficult to enjoy music with lyrics I don't understand. Even when 99 Laftbaloons came out, one of the kids had school had a translation and dittos were made and chopped up.
The last thing I'll say about non-english gibberish is this: Every country has some program on air that teaches conversational language. Here. it's Crosslands Cafe on PBS. There must be an equivalent Norwegian show out there (maybe even with eng subs).)

considering i have basic cable and we dont get that many channels thats not surprising.
seriously the only thing we have here that has to deal with foreign languages is Telemundo and thats Spanish soap operas and all that jazz.

I think the cicadas came out three times my whole life. Their eatable bugs that make 80 db noise once every 17 years or so... Yeah, the stinkbugs ate and reproduced big time 3 years ago. Before that it was pretty rare here too for a while. And there's moths in the house, which my dad imported...

Pi day is so elementary school. I honestly thought it was commemorating the date which it was discovered! Anyway Pi isn't 3.14 anyway... it's vastly more than that. Or less.
Much like everything we measure, Pi in the real world is an average. In theory you get that pretty decimal that goes on forever, because you can theoretically have a perfect circle. This will never be the case in actuality.
A few years ago, I would've called that an excellent argument, and agreed 100%.
I'm of the mind that absolutes do exist, but many of them are beyond our perceptions.

That video's a NYC based mid-80's commercial. Cookie Puss was the creepiest around Halloween. It's a shame more of those trippy ads aren't around anymore. The ice cream was bad assed.
When the company got cheap and reduced the milkfat and added seaweed, our local "dip" vendor bailed on his franchise and made it the way it was... even a little better than before. Little Jimmie's IC folded a few years ago due to a lack of fucks to give.

It is a shame trippy ads are gone :l, I'd actually pay attention to commercials today if they were like that; Speaking of commercials, when I look at commercials from the '90s, I realize how ADHD they were, and begin asking myself how that seemed normal at one point.
They use seaweed as a "stabilizer", especially in ice cream sandwiches, to keep it solid... even at room temperature. It also makes it "feel" smoother or more fatty.
I can only guess the ad people were hippies back then... maybe they were the last of the ad execs to believe the public had an imagination. The TV ads in the 90's were very frantic indeed... digital editing, cocaine, consumer research group wackiness... who knows what evil tainted our tube culture?

i really liked the ones from the previous design for the holidays. even though the christmas ones were pretty much identical for to the normal ones except the back was different and they had holiday stuff and snow. the halloween ones were cool though :P

I guess we used to do the same thing with digital calculators back in the day, BOOBLESS and the like. It was so petty back then teachers didn't even bother after a while.

In jrHS wood shop, we had an engraving (stencil) course. We did wood, those little thin plastic placards and some cheap metal. We tried to write dirty stuff on things we brought in.

No card. Luis was supposed to match and send them out, which he says he did in batches.... we don't need no stinking batches! I'm not the only one who got skunked either.
(Pop ignored my box trap outside... there's a little baby skunk in there. I opened the door, asked it nicely to leave... the cats don't seem to mind. I've seen them screw around with each other, but few sprayings. I saw one at a distance, and it was a big spread of mist.)

and she said a few cds and the dvd was my idea since she loves that movie but doesnt have a copy of it. im going to look for: Red Harvest or A Cruel World by Bloodsimple, something by Falkenbach, something by Hellyeah, XIII by Mushroomhead, Teratologie or Autopsie by Eths, Septembre Et Ses Dernières Pensées by Les Discrets, and L.D. 50 by Mudvayne. im also going to see if i can get the Phantom Of The Paradise soundtrack to go along with the movie too. i think she'd like that :)
