To answer the question on your previous post.
No it wasn't ice. It rained the night before and the steps were a bit slippery. Doesn't help that I have like no traction whatsoever on my shoes....

Pretty much just my cars, my sister's car, and my dad's vans.
Either need new shoes, or get the steps surface a bit gritty.... wat, no one keeps the porch step swept... odd they'd be slippery unless it was mossy or muddy.

I damn near done mine (the celebrity) in doing a 0-60 - was about 15 seconds :( Plugs needed to be done, gas could've been cleaner, new air filter would've helped plenty... shit shame they never built it with a manual tranny, that thing would've pulled pretty good

I did a little over 80 on the turnpike in the ford ltd (man the shocks were shit on that car, all floaty feeling).... state trooper pulled up and put the spotlight on me (just acted 'natural' and he sped ahead of me) (whew)

man, the 83 ford was dangerous and sucky!! stapled wires onto the radiator hose, carb was fixed so you could adjust it (and would leak and occasionally catch fire) a bunch of other design flaws. still, was an okay car, kinda

Yeah....it had a problem with that....still does somewhat but its not as bad.
we asked around, and other mechanics said the settings were close enough and a new carb was just too costly (mainly because of what ford had did, holly saw $$$)

Once the stuff got found and dumped, it was a hella-lotta clicking around (had the list typed up, then transferred to the post form, then copied, deleted, pasted into field, go to dump page, copy, paste, click, repeat).
Hope you end up with a better car(s) than I've had, though the Maxima and Celebrity were damn fine rides. Civic was okay too (majorly efficient), but those lil wheels on East coast roads ... :|

Its not that it needs to be rebuilt. I need a new one because its a 4 barrel and it causes the car to pretty much inhale gas like its nothing.

I'd have put the 2000 GMC Sienna on the list, but it belongs to the whole family, even though I'm the only one using it just now. I think it has the 5.7 liter V8, which is the smallest they produced for that particular model, with extended cab (w/ suicide door) and towing package.
I think the only motors we have just laying around are ones for: 1968 Charger, a Vega motor, and some other motor just sitting in a garage.
Should put them on ebay or craigs list... I should be doing the same.
Gotta a shit ton of little motors not over 20hp...

just thinking of the pushrods on the massey. last time a nasty knock happened, he (my pop) took 6 bolts of the valve cover, pulled the bad rod out, banged it straight, stuck it in, and bolted the cover up O_o no sticky shit required for the cover :)

Whoa....I just logged my stats in that "stat whore" site and apparently since my last log thingy (Jan. 5th) I got 900 b/p points! Thats INSANE!!!!!! I almost got 1000 points in LESS than a month! If I keep this up I should be a Supreme Commander by the end of 2014 if not the middle of 2015.

We have a TON of car parts in a garage we have at my grandma(my dad's mom)'s house. Vega parts, Charger parts (like some stuff off of his General Lees), Thunderbird parts, parts for the other like 30 cars hes had over the years....its craziness.

True, but he's had a lot of exposure. Fan/friend numbers aside, I run my own race with regard to stats. Sure, I like to see who's been humping the site and all.... measure my NG schlong against theirs, but I'm more or less proud of my stats where they are. Except for the level, which would've been at least... 52 days x 6 years.... I used to vote every saturday on my cousins computer without being logged in. Just damn glad my neighbor's letting me use her wifi.

Well I was going to take a notebook and write em all down then transfer them to either a wordpad or notepad document. So I can have that stuff on hand if I for some reason need to tell someone what I do and don't have and whatnot.

None of these pictures are of the actual vehicle, but the body types are spot-on accurate, even if the colors weren't. Pity I couldn't find pictures of the tractors with the 'add-ons' attached, makes more sense when you see them like that. Have a nagging feeling I'm still missing one or two......
