    Chaos Theory

    Posted by VicariousE - December 16th, 2011

By weight and volume, this pitcure's contents represents just under 10% (or two years) of my father's hoarding. He's been at it for decades. A personality, like someone who could do this (see below), is not often stable or reasonable. Thus explains some of my flighty nature. At least this buggy crap-heap of a website is organized, so, I come here for a stable, chaotic environment.
As you can see decorating this holiday is not necessary; absence would be far prettier. [The-Last-Guardian 'll like that last bit.]

Peace and Prosperity. "Nothing is ever lost by courtesy. It is the cheapest of pleasures, costs nothing, and conveys much." - Erastus Wiman

PS - Gotta change my homepage from refdesk to something else.... "The best thing to give to your enemy is forgiveness; to an opponent, tolerance; to a friend, your heart; to your child, a good example; to a father, deference; to your mother, conduct that will make her proud of you; to yourself, respect; to all men, charity." - Benjamin Franklin

PPS - ...and one more from my favorite author and human, "Be always at war with your vices, at peace with your neighbors, and let each new year find you a better man." - Benjamin Franklin

    Oh wow! That is chaotic!
You could probably build your own robot combining all those things together!

No, but the A-Team could probably add a couple flesh spikes to whatever vehicle they were making.

    This.
    Only about -10 years

I'm beginning to think this is some new catch phrase... You must PM me when you can add words, either before or after, your statement.
At the moment, I can only conclude you're posing as me from ten years ago, mocking my lack of progress.
I've been a member here for over ten years... does that signify?

    Fascinating. A chaotic beauty.

It could be considered such. But when the debris field is visible to satellite lenses and local small aircraft, I get a bit self conscious.
I'll admit my father's detritus in physical form does have a "flower of life" type feel, but then his actions and the course of time do show some patterns of texture, mass...
It's the biggest game of "concentration" I will ever face. Turning chaos into order is a fun hobby my sister and I enjoy. Tackling a few dozen tons of it makes it not so fun; especially with winter ice turning the iron into pieces of clear amber, with once functional life pictured in it's center...

    Alright, sorry for being cryptic.

What I mean to say is that I have many of the same issues you do, only I'm about 10 years younger than you (I exaggerate a little, but round numbers are better).

I also have a hoarder parent. I am also unemployed and creepy. I really wish for the best for you because what you have to deal with is... as a great philosopher once put it... "a shit-load of fuck".

Arghhh, it IS me from the past! Yeah, I do have issues and everyone is understanding of them, but no solutions or assistance of any kind. If I could get to a support group, well, that'd be one hell of a laugh!
As far as my own creepiness' been faring... less amounts, more dense than years past. Thick as a brick, you might say.

Eventhough it's bad, it's still pretty cool. This photo alone would make a pretty badass wallpaper.
    I dunno, just saying.

I like seeing nature when I look outside, not the remnants of a building collapse, with the contents of a few farms tossed on top for food measure.
Still, yeah - color correct it, it'd be okay. Maybe I'll put on some tree spikes and scale the center pole; the main garage ceiling is about 20 feet... that'll make one whacked 360 pic!

I spy a set of paint brushes! Yus, it is a clutter. It would be neat to see an after picture of everything being organized, heh. Even though it's full of chaos , um oddly it's a nice picture. There's so much going on, the layers of items!!!! LUL. ^---^ Good Luck on your objective!

Pity I couldn't whitewash the mountains of stuff on the outside of the building - I think the dead briars would suck much of it up. When I was a little kid, I used to ride my BMX bike around the inside! Not long after, the layers started appearing, and the deer path became a ground-hog path... Time and effort made it, and will hopefully undo it.
