There's no point in making completely baseless assumptions for the days or timeframes onto which a possible disaster will occur. Nothing lasts forever, but Y2K, December 2012 (only examples I can recall as the whole topic a futile discussion) all these omens have been untrue.

Adelaide is experiencing another fucking heatwave. Last 4 days have been 39, 40, 42,39 and last night was the hottest night in 100 years with a whopping low of 34 degrees celsius. I've had all 3 A/C's going flat out for that entire time. Shannon's dog/my dog too had to have emergency surgery on Saturday. She had all of her lady bits removed to to Pyometra, (a massive infection of her uterus), it swelled to 20 times its normal size. We took her to the vets at 2.30pm on Saturday and she was being operated on at 3.15pm. If we had of left it a couple more hours it would have burst and she would have died. Anyway she came home Sunday night and she's good as gold again, thank goodness. Hope you get some satisfaction soon dude. Stay happy and don't let the man get you down!!!!

We had taken her to the Vet 3 days before and they knew something was wrong but couldn't be exactly sure what it was. They gave her an anti-biotics jab there and then and said keep an eye on her. So we did and everything seemed okay she perked right up for a couple of days but then on day 3 she just plummeted down health-wise, chronic heavy breathing, vomiting everywhere, so we rushed her back up and you know the rest.
On a completely unrelated note. I'm going to have to change my profile page a bit, since I have stopped smoking the Greenery. I haven't had a smoke for 4 weeks now and I haven't had any cravings or desire to have a cone at all. Not bad for someone who barely missed a day getting stoned in 34 years. I feel much better for it too.

So I'm still waiting... if the tenants (next door to the sold farm) were more reliable, I would've split the area for good last month, but to find a comparable rent elsewhere, would be like a full days ride.
