Yeah, it could be more active if users made post about the uploads they like, but not even that happens, it would requite of users that are highly active in both sites.
There's lots of stuff here I like, but then again I don't go anywhere else but here for the most part. I'll stream old TV shows, check the weather and news sites, and that's about it online...

I don't know any other Newgrounders that are also influential Redditors, and that is pretty much what it falls on, the Newgrounder doesn't even needs to be popular here, it only needs swag on reddit to get people interested.
Again it comes down to demographics; NG is for kids, and those kids like talking smack with very few syllables and viewing hentai and/or plugging their other web presences.

Hey thanks man, since my folks passed on, a lot of pretense has dropped away, and has been replaced with who we (the surviving kids) really are. I'm glad to have been teh baby and all, it gave me more time to appreciate both parents' views/morality/experience. Only difference is, I've traded a mother for a sister (to be answerable to) :p
It's tough to find and hold down good paying work, takes money to make money, which is then used to gamble on making more money, with less effort.. blah, terribly adversarial.

I think I should apologize. I once told you to say "fuck it all". Please don't unless you only feel relief and not hate nor anger. Relief gave me control over myself and my choices, hate and anger didn't! Since most of us Earthlings look similar from different perspectives, I think it should work for you too. I've been exceptionally patient and forgiving of how this site has changed over the years, but really, enough is enough. I'll still come back to talk to NG's amazing members, but everything else here is off my radar: art, games, movies, the whole lot >:(
Can't say I'm pissed off, but I am upset and disappointed that the site's structure hasn't been a priority. It's like Tom's trying to fix a car while it's cruising down the road - he's trying to run the site and fix the site at the same time, and it's not working. I've been on him, on and off for a few years, to delegate some responsibilities; the man has a family and Behemoth to worry about!
I hope your checkpoint veers you to better, happier paths. Myself, this subtle yet time consuming change Tom introduced, was really the straw that broke my back... another balloon gone up, in an already long life.

Yeah, I wouldn't want to have my account 'split' either, if the site is split I hope the accounts stay consistent at least. I think I'd like switching site to view the adult art less than toggling that A rating, but if that's the way it has to be... btw, they could start saving what ratings you toggle via database rather than browser cookie, that way you'd only need to do it once!
Ahh, makes sense! A little trail of dust and sparks behind the tank would be pretty neat. Also would be cool: animated GIF of the tank soon as you hover over it.

Yeah, I'm not the only one saying it: websites are boring considering the firepower most computers these days. In a lot of ways, NG is more primitive (less flashy) now, than it was at the start! You had music in the portal, non-ad Flash games to click on, animations/statistics on voting and viewing the heavy hitters - movies and games |: Gimmicks are the sweeteners in medicine and poison... and good, but boring flash sites like this one
