Wow man congrats! That's truly incredible.
I remember when it looked like that but well before I made an account (besides a throw-away one).
Grats again.
Time flies when you're on NG!

I always liked the lean looking NG, especially the Portal, where all the magic was to be had.

Damn man, I lost a bunch of my favorites recently, looks like you were one of them!

dude how in the blue fuck is your 11 year old laptop better than my 7 year old laptop

Lean, mean, fighting, maah-sheeen! WIN7pro, no a/v protection 512MB of crapRAM:\ Despite the shit drivers running in the BG, I can boot up using only 130MB of RAM, leaving just enough for a clean install of FF to do the net... this POS is the reason I'll never buy Intel, except for their videocards |: Fucker's built like a Sega 32x with no multithreading :p

Oh to answer that question you asked me two weeks ago (which I COMPLETELY FORGOT ABOUT)
It was mainly my idea. I wanted to see if we could hit 100 comments by the end of the night because you were going to make a new post. Then when we spammed your post to 100 we decided to go to 200. Then 300. Then after a bit we went for 1000. Then after a bit....10,000.
I honestly DO NOT think there are any other blog posts that have that many comments on it anywhere on here. The closest I've seen was on I wanna say M-Bot's post which had like 7,000 comments on it the last time I checked.

Yeah man, you were the architect of something, that no one on NG had ever done before!!!

I don't even think 1000 comments can fit on the notification pod (pictured above), let alone 10,000
10,001... SC3 :) The last person to have that spot, was some pony/troll you yourself found, and which I promptly deleted :\

Ah damn it! I forgot to log my stats on the first of this month!
(at least I think I didn't....)

I hope your cat has been attended to. Been warm the past few days, and 71 degrees today. Ground's almost thawed out lol

oh cool i found your 10,000 comment blog post (10,001 comments now)

it seems you were pretty upset in the next newspost? did Tom ever give you any ad money? not that much would be gained of that if any at all

glad things are *somewhat* better for you now, i hope

Long story boiled down: Tom has nothing to do with CPMstar... he knew the owner founder, then he sold out, and the new owner changed.. and Tom just went with it, because the checks came in regularly, and he had just enough software from them, to figure out who to write checks to.

The clicking ad economy, is a big horse to psychoanalyze, and I had to take a crash course. It is possible, that the ad-rev I got that first month, was retroactive! It's also possible my blog got scanned by bots enough to trigger enough clicks...

Eh, that was a while ago, and I was clearly rude to Tom :\

I think it was Ragnarokia who originally took the 10,001 spot. I could be wrong though....

Actually...we haven't. It's been in either the mid-30s or low 40s like all week last week and this week so far. But it's been raining today so we're planning on doing that on Friday since the ground should be soft enough after all this rain.

Also two things.
1. Chelsea is going to be staying over on Saturday and is going to a Birthday party for me and my Grandma (who is turning 80 this year).
And
2. I finally got around to PMing Tom about that '00 account "Viper" and asked if it'd be possible to get my username changed to that. I didn't ask him TO change it. I just asked if it was possible to change it.

Guess he didn't want to have to say 'yeah i can", then have you ask him outright.... saved you a message. 'Would it be possible' is the stuck up person's way of saying 'please do', in some office speeches I've seen....

Hey Steve, ya notice anything different about meh?

Yeah, but I'm pouting
:|

Your username got a haircut lol

oh shit...i say "if it's possible all the time"...it's genuine though. I wouldn't want anybody to feel obliged to carry out my requests.

Hm, what's possible 24/7? Nah, requests are good... beats demands.

fucking shit! end quotation mark should be after "possible"

That helps my understanding a little, but the context eludes me :)

I haven't been checking my blog responses lately.... kinda holding my breath, waiting for news, then I can act. No sense in wasting effort, ya know.....

Whenever I see that style for NG and such, it reminds me back when I first started here....

I think they called it a "Newgrounds Gold" account, had a neat pop-up to put your name and password in. I really miss the elaborate pop-up from just after you voted... all those stats, and the blam and save anims.... NG has a 2 year old primer coat, it needs a high gloss finish to survive :|

...so on other tangent, I decided to not opt into the contract of going to grad school (paid for) and signing up to be a middle or high school teacher for three years. I have plenty of patience and toleration, but honestly I have zero experience dealing with adolescents, so at this time (if at all) I thought it would be unsuitable for me to dive right into a teaching gig. student teaching would have commenced in fall, after a summer semester of classes. I'm gonna apply for a couple of tutoring positions to get relative experience, and work from there.

otherwise, it's back to the drawing board for me. I wouldn't mind going back to school, but at this point it feels like I'm just trying to put off something scary (getting a real job). I just need a freakin change damnit! but at the same time I'm too scared to make that change.

I guess as long as there's no 'gap years/months' in your resume, and you hang onto your credits and a high SAT score (which will diminish over time, if re-tested)...

Does sound like a cautious track to me, but completely efficacious, and deduced with reason. Just remember that line from Men In Black.. "Individuals are okay, but people are fractious..." okay, that's not a direct quote, but you get my drift. Teaching is more like stand-up comedy and newsreading combined :p
