When you sweat a lot, the pure sugar and bubbles are damn hard to process in the belly.
Ice tea and orange juice (with a lot of ice, hence, watering, again) was a better option when digging ditches in high summer with no shade to take cover under (though the ground's a bit cooler)

Wow, that sounds wonderfully average! No t.... well, we did have a 8x10 foot fort on telephone poles, but we camped out on the edge of the back field. I'd bring the lawnmower back there (one had headlights and a cigarette lighter).....
