mine was stolen from me at the beginning of freshman year and i didn't get it back til the end of junior year ,_, the person who stole it broke the eraser off at some point. so there was a wood part sticking out and i drew a smiley face on it and kept it like that for awhile and ended up cutting it off and now its relatively flat on the top since i sanded it down with some sandpaper i found.
still not that bad for $1. i wish i had a big pencil sharpener because i have to use a knife to sharpen it
