nah, it's still stealing. I guess it's only fair if the company's big like MS or Apple.... it's really all backlash from the RIAA and the outrageous prices they charged for CD's not long after they came out.... and they were cheaper than cassettes!!!
AND, a lot of the shit they produced (after 1992) was total shit. The radio only played a track or two from an album... then you bought the album for 14 15$ and it was shit?! i still dont see how its stealing though....
ive been working on a record player of mine because theres a switch thats in there that turns on the turntable but its not moving so i was trying to take it apart to see whats causing it to be stuck and the reason i stopped is because: theres a clip thats attached to a screw and i cant get it off and i dont want to try forcing it off because i dont want to risk breaking it. and its a bigger record player thats like 3 1/2' wide and about 3' tall so it has a lid on the top thats attached by hinges and theres a thing inside with a spring and for some reason the spring WILL NOT retract and it caused the screws to be torn out of the hinges ._.

its seriously pissing me off with what happened to the lid thing...to the point where i punched it then kicked the wall a bunch of times and immediately afterwards came on here ._.
