yeah, don't try a generic smoke or stink bomb - agway sells a smoke bomb that will vacate critters in a urry. we used to use them on groundhog holes, mainly to see where all the holes are... we'
d plug em all up but one, then dump chems or an m-80 down the hole with a hubcap or plate over the hole, to maximize concussion damage.
i tend to stick to JUST the middle column but if i get ticked off at something i go off into the bottom row...
