ya know...im considering painting over the window behind me with black paint so literally NO light gets in here...and then putting up blinds and stuff so its physically impossible to see in here unless you're superman or something and leaving the one next to my bed the way it is as theres already blinds over is so not a lot of light gets in here, and then putting my black light in and just leaving it like that all the time ._.

fender deluxe reverb :l. That's my home amp anyway. Got stock tubes in it, might switch em out for some others I've got stockpiled though.
Then I've got my fender mustang II amp which I filled with a bunch of custom effects (Fender fuse ftw :l), and that's solid state. Then there's my behringer solid state amp which is a pretty tiny practice amp with a built in overdrive switch, and finally I've got my vox amplug that I can just put into my guitar, and put headphones through that :l OR plug it into this little mini vox amplug cabinet thing which is a tiny speaker that you can put the amplug into like a head.

and obviously the vox stuff is all solid state-- It'd be crazy if that stuff worked with tubes. xD

Fancy new technology-- Integrated circuits and such. The reason why Tubes died out. They take up less space and don't heat up, your phone's solid state, radios are solid state now, most amps made now are solid state, etcetera. It's just the way of technology, shit gets more efficient, cheaper, and smaller.
Sadly, solid state shit does not have the same sound quality that you get with tubes. It's like comparing vinyl records to cds/digital recordings.
