i see. but you COULD record using a turntable and a needle on a blank disc and have it carve a groove into the disc to make a sound. THEN if you have a crack handled turn table just use human power to play what you "recorded". see problem solved ._.

my mic is a USB Rock Band mic ._.
i do not know of an unpowered version of which you speak..... youd need to go to the wax scroll days to record like that

OH no! I liked it.
eww gamer headsets, "Welcome to the world, may I help you? Fries with that?" couldn't stand the psn network... all audio has a delay on it and you hear you echo as it hits the grid (bleeeeeeech)

The chat is essentially instant.
It's pretty useful for gaming and stuff--The virtual network, that is.
And you can make as many networks as you want, so you can work your way around the 5 person limit by making several networks and having 4 join each one. Those bastards lowered it from 10 to 5 though... Just to complicate things--Bastards.
