Phone isn't broken here.... he just didn't pay the bill (or my sister didn't), so caller ID and calling to other cellphones in the network is disabled. Nice. I use the landline 2-3 times a week and would be perfectly happy for barebones service with called ID and that's it!
Ma was right and he shoulda got a 900 number for his frequent 'can you help me' calls which used to easily outnumber the wassup calls

I don't feel comfortable with just a cellphone, though that's all I had a few years before I moved outta my old house. This farm's had the same number for 70 years! I'd hate to loose that....
Aww, she really needs to get her schedule straight. One day she might hurt one of the kids by accident - you can't keep treating your body like a cellphone.
Okay, no one's around and rain is coming soon, so I guess Ill eat and mow the lawn... then when the two old farts get back, maybe have to plant lots more and get wet :P
