Dude, my pop and I were headed to the Wendy's last night, to the one I used to frequent after working my last job.... White Castle took it over :( We went to IHOP and got hosed price wise.
The last job I had was at kid's amusement arcade, where we'd get lots of Carvel left behinds... It took a few months before the sight of those limp excuses for ice cream made me ill.

The frozen sliders in the grocery store are mad expensive, but are pretty close to the original. The steamed "meat" and onions are what makes it ass kicking good. Pop's on restricted salt, so we didn't do the drive thru.

Oh, you mean the Carvel overdose? I needed a lot of food to run that place - I eventually went to an all french fry diet (I occasionally ate for free, and didn't want to deplete the expensive stuff) when I worked there.
I scored the biggest most awesome cake there! A yard by a yard and a half! Choco icing on vanilla cake with a real banana pudding filler! It was for some 3 year olds bday party... only 5 people showed and they lemme have it (the kid tried petting the cake, so I cut around that bit). I shared with everyone I could find and still had enough to freeze and eat later.
Sharing cake is the ultimate in friendship :3

yep she is ._. it ticks me off though. that she would read something that i wrote for Kupia that wasnt meant to be read by her...thats why im writing notes and putting the pieces of paper in the booklets for the cds im getting Kupia so she cant find them. im also making a valentines day card for her too :3 it has a heart on the front with a beard because Kupia LOOOOOOOOOOVES beards.
ah okay. well i tend to take really good care of things of mine that i like. and the only times i dont is when im not paying attention and something happens to em...case in point the like 5 ps2s that i had that all got destroyed and the couple of ps1s that got ruined too...and the gamecube...and my gameboy...and a pair of my favorite sunglasses...as you can see i dont pay attention to some stuff very well hahaha

Hey VicariousE. I got some tips for your painting.
Just don't force yourself so much to try to be others. Create your own style and theme! Create your own fantasy!
Try out all the tools (GIMP or PS) and choose your bet set(s) of those. Practice on them often. Never stick to one type of art or theme for too long.
I used to draw anything I saw and observed. Also I liked to get ideas from things around me. Could be booze or food. Could be from childhood memories. Could be from your own pet(s)! Could be a jumping spider that stared at you from its corner!
Draw monochrome first. if you used to that then move on to 2 or 3 colors. Multi-colors mixing is the final process.
Oh, I wasn't consciously trying to copy anyone in particular, though my love of Art does take me in lots of different directions... especially now that the Art portal here is up (I've been here at NG too long :3)
I'm almost done exploring GIMP and have settled on a few things... if only they'd stick to the palette before it crashes. I guess it's been 12 years since I've mouse-drawn anything electronically, so the rust is almost shaken... if only I had stereoscopic vision again, the experience would be more pleasurable.
That's my immediate problem: blending colors without leaning on the smudging tool. Granted, it's a nice method, but what else... I'll be just happy to finish, regardless of technique! Thanks so much for the advice, honored sir.
I just bought a bottle of French rum today. 11 years old, for less than $70 in flea market. It's a big bottle. I wish I can share it with you and all the fellows in here. That Yiddish lad who sold it for me originally sell it for over $200 until he realize no one cared. He downed the prices right at the moment I came up to look for some Irish whiskey and also I'm his regular customer XD.
Don't you love it when a plan comes together? The last fortunate experience I had like that was many years ago at an open air market a few miles from me. A guy had a small Tourister filled with airline booze bottles, some of which had two or three seals on them (for international consumption). Zounds, they were old - I got them for a dollar a piece.
The Johnny Walker red was exquisite! I still have some gin left, but some of the bottles were content free - positive some of those are no longer in production. I've only seen ads for them in old Playboys and such. I wish I could find an antique booze dealer around here... there's a brand of brandy I used to like, before they screwed up the ingredients.

Hmm, I think if I posted it, s___y'd shield her eyes for fear of being turned into a plastic toy from the vulgar 80's! I had to put vise-grips in the tuning knob, just to keep the internal plastic screw from letting loose the tension... it did mar the surface. It had a definite deep C sound to it and the feedback was about the same - pretty basic, and of course, the pickup was rather cheap.

Haven't the slightest. It's pretty beat up, but it's rare - aside from the link I posted, there's no there record of it even existing. At the time, my brother said to take good care of it 'cause maybe Jimmy Page might pay for something like that. So I threw it the back of my closet for many years, till I rediscovered and played the bejesits out of it.
I've been to their shop. My first impression upon meeting the lead guy was FAT. He's a little thinner now that he's on TV, but the place was for them to rook people, plain and simple. A seller's market.

Oh man.. I had no booze that day, and now that I worked up some cash and bought a bottle of Captain Morgan's rum... the neighbor's kid caught me walking back from the booze boutique, "Could you get me a bottle." I was so shagged out after digging holes that day, I ended up giving my bottle (minus 2 shots) at a 5 dollar loss. Even if I had a car, I was just done :(
