Yeah I had a dog bark at me from across the street coming back for Marlboro purchasing... then this scummy dude I went to HS with (and his buddy?) were across the intersection, "Hey (insert real name)!" I waved and looked out for traffic so they could turn, and get out of my damn way. Well, the roads here are colonial, so they sway and swerve through the trees. It's damn nice ride in the Southern part of the state... although,, the pine barrens are just that - boring.

Took the Interstate over that canal. My sis lived near where the Donner party ate themselves. A little closer to her: a few miles of mountain where Chinese and Irish workers killed themselves putting tunnels in that were never used... strange people creep there now (probably looking for bones, or to become them... don't remember if it was her or me that thought of an excellent creeper movie set)...

I got the kit when I just moved into the farm house (no art farm). But you had to mail in a card to get the brine through the mail.... even then, only half a dozen lived, then died soon after. I guess there's a shelf life or heat thing with them....

i filled a whole bathtub full of sea monkeys then threw my brother in them....sure it got me grounded for 2 months but it was worth it :D and yes i had enough to fill an entire bathtub it was cuz i had like 4 or 5 tanks and i did a rly good job growing them there was like 30 in one tank ._.
yah we can work together although we mostly dont thats like the only thing we do together....other than like....stuff.....but ya...and he used to be in a lot of my classes so we were partners in a lot of school projects...

My pop didn't want employees after his paving business went bust, and his employees bought his equipment and failed a few months later... it was kinda sabotaged. After that, I was his cheap and easy to yell at workforce. Caused me some issues, since I was not old enough to shovel 2 1/2" bluestone by hand and operate several tons of machinery (both almost killed me). I still find it amazing that you need a degree to operate a transit (tripod scope and a large wooden ruler... to measure the vertical levels of roads, pipes and foundations) - I did that shit before I was getting proper boners. Guess I was raised Chinese by white trash....

In the very early 80's I wrote a short story for a 5th grade class called "Logon", where our hero just begins to talk to a female his age (online), meets a bully that knows them both (real world), and the hero manages to save the girl through this IRC thingy, right after they meet in real life.

when i was in 5th grade i wrote a story bout a little 9 year old who was abused by her father, so she ran away to an all girls orphanage but the woman who runs it makes the girls work on this farm and wont give them any food until they've worked their asses off and she sometimes goes off into the woods to see this hunter whos mother was drowned by this guy with 7 wives who wanted to marry her. and then she gets shot by the dude in the woods bc they had this huge fight bout running away together :) then i drew some pictures to go along with every chapter :D
i rly thought the pistures described more of the story than the writing ._.
i got a C then i was sent to special programs -and advanced art and writing :)- and they called my mom to let her know how disturbing i was.
Don't you just love it in school when they say, Be creative, then you are, then they get all weird about it and rat to your parents? It could've happened to me more, but luckily, the teachers I had (who weren't whiny no-brained liberals) just had a good talk w/ me. I had no trouble jumping rope with words back then.... Can only wonder how graphic the pictures were to your story; that's usually what gets bees in their bonnet (they train ppl working w/ kids to "diagnose" drawings). My imagination was pretty big from an early age, so that caused probs.
I never took Art, and I could've done an after school thing in writing, but I had work and there was no school credit for the effort. The course I had were pretty lame in school - now they have engineering, electronics and all kinda cool shit. I'm glad you got the chance to learn what you wanted.
