Well, if you're alive to read this, I feel the same. Intellectual discourse is not only the language of logic, but of the heart as well (no fagginess implied).
Still, I believe The-Last-Guardian should downplay the role of Devil's-Advocate; it's a good starting point, but ... I was known for being The-Dark-Cloud, myself.
