Thanks.. the PC I wrote it on is down. Buddy ordered me a replacement cpu fan, but it pooped out due to the cold start of 50F. Cheap bearings. Then the next day my headset snapped in 2, and the day after that, got evicted in the rain.
Not giving up, as things are tepidly looking up.
@VicariousE finally got tied down. it's nice! big change of pace from zipping around everywhere, but i like it. i enjoy the company of my husband
What a blessing to be with your own life-mate.... without all the commuting (hasn't it gotten terrible on the roads, kids can't be bothered to have a lil finesse?)
My big question is: how do you travel/zen/reset without long hauls? Gardening used to be the closest I came to just driving into the unknown... Speaking of which, I'm overdue to post a blah overview of my sci-fi typings. And then I gotta put up a 22nd NG birthday post on the 15th (wanted to match Tom Fulp's join-date, and one day after Valentine's Day seemed like a perfect fit.)

I should've known growing up on a farm (and remaining) so close to the NYC metroplex, would drive me insane. Just want a simple life somewhere else (similar dirt), a patch of my own land to foster and sweat for.
