Banned from online play, they've already stated (last year) that single player/story mode mods were ok. I never used mods of any kind on GTA V, but it only takes one asshole with a mod menu or hot wired trainer to incorrectly flag a lobby of up to 30 people

Considering the game's been hacked from day one (old gen consoles), I was bitter, but also sympathetic to R*, now, fuck 'em. I can't play single player, there's no one there but pissy NPC's. I don't mind playing in or around others on an equal playing field, but when ppl mod in freeroam, it affects everyone.

Plus, how many games out there offer a variety of cars, aircraft and guns to play with? I like driving, racing and shooting things in teh faic yo

Yeah it's encrypted email. Seems to be made by a pretty serious team, and is free, so might be worth looking into! It's not that all that new anymore though. Signed up there with a select few most-wanted alternative aliases a few years back. :) Doubt yours would be taken yet though, if this is the same you use for such things too...

Who knows what's up w/ Dan Paladin, he may or may not have been lurking after I left my words on his blog. If I were back to making creative content again, I don't know how much looking around I'd do here,... 1. its easier to view content than it is to create it, 2. I wouldn't want to be inspired by anything here - good stuff comes from within

Can always count on NPC's to be who they are though! Reliable, trustworthy companions who never change; follow the rules; don't go through unexpected personality changes; disappear; stab you in the back... unless that's part of the story.

With online play? Seems this is the one and only. Otherwise I've been pretty curious about Saint's Row. Don't think it really matches up, but it's been an alternative so long now.

No such thing old buddy, somewhere the math and characters were at odds.

There was a minor tweak to AI driving and ppl once, about 1 1/2 ago or so, noticed it after helping a skrub w/ his first heist, on the drive to recon Fleeca, up on right of the western thruway... imagine it made it's way to story mode around that time.

Guess I gotta file tickets now, keep sending them, something's gotta give. Gaming alone sucks, no human element other than what you bring to it... then I'm gonna get Far Cry 5.

2 things I love in video games, driving and shooting, at the same time, on foot, in the air, taking cover - that's all I want, dammit

Indeed. Though as for good inspiration coming from within, I feel like ALL inspiration comes from outside stimuli first. Experiences, impressions, surroundings... everything adds in. So partaking in other content: nothing like a dose of those too!

And yeah, gonna buckle down and get it, since it will fit on my SSD. Also tried Wolfenstein New Order and it's Old Blood companion game, rly enjoyed them, though I can see how the reviews were on target, with regards to medal completion.

No Saint's Row though? It's got both of those too. The trailers for Far Cry 5 do seem promising, but I haven't been so fond of the open world in Far Cry earlier. It felt more like a mission-based game, yet there was so much extra grind with side-missions and collecting. Maybe this one's different...

Bought FC5 a few days ago. Never played any of them previous to this one.

Looks fantastic, decently optimized, air controls are twitchy (likely for the console market). 60 dollar game and they wanna charge 30 bucks for a season pass (which looks like 3 DLC's)?

Cool. About Wolfenstein I really liked the last game, still looking forward to playing this one too. They're getting so cinematic it's almost like watching a movie, and refreshingly uncensored compared to other games. What I don't like's the grind, but it's like that with pretty much any new game these days. Especially Bethesda. Same thing with the new DOOM, even if it was great otherwise.

Yea they're slowly introducing sex into mainstream games, anything to compete with Hollywood and indie devs on Steam.

For sure regarding the sex scenes, though don't think I've seen any outside of Wolfenstein yet. Not uncensored, at least. Not except from that Hot Coffee bug in old GTA SA at least... have you stumbled upon others?

Yeah, but I had a wild hair up my ass, especially after getting suspended and wiped, so a good game's good for what ails ya. This Sunday I can get back to GTA:O, but there's no way I'm grinding for ingame money again, so, nefarious means are necessary

Hm, out and out sex? Not outside of hentai games and whatever passes for video games in Japan. There are mods for games, like Postal 2, where the chicks run around naked, but no actual sex scenes in mainstream games, even PC games

Yeah excluding mods or those so-called Visual Novels. :) Or any games with obvious adult themes really, like Leisure Suit Larry (haven't played it but that's one that comes to mind). It's pretty new ground in normal games then still.

Ugh, played a few demos when Sierra (possibly) published them, bought one of the later ones for PS2, no codes, insanely difficult mini games needed to get 100%, and likely only marginal adult content.
