Whoa, where did this come from?
How long did this take? Did you reference this from something? Where are the boobs (lol)? It's cropped a bit, yeah? Lush, very lush for a simple sketch.

Looks like a 70's velvet-type picture..
...if only the BG was black 'n fuzzy! All the details are spot-on and the action pose is fab, Sab. And a big "yes" to another sketchbook, please? The last 3 or 4 pics you posted would be great in there, as well.
Well, it's just the one robot, right?
Very elegant (simple premise) and telling at the same time. I like where you went with this picture.
A bit grinny
Spectacular work - hope to see more "behind the helm" sci-fi trekkie type things. Aspect ratio seems a bit pinched (wider would've been lovely)... but I guess it all about the ears, right? Professional stylings make this a fav.
Quite nice
The bg looks like the paisley-period of his life. The rough lines of the subject really work well... although he looks like he's stooping or half-sitting on something. Is he tying his trenchcoat? A star or two off for lack of a horizon-type line or something to "set it off".
wowzerz
If this woman was the inspiration... damn. Excellent work all around - great job on the freckles, bg and hair! I guess I've had muses of a sort, but mostly draw upon my own idiosyncrasies, which is too bad when I consider this piece.
Yeah the freckles were fun, I just threw some water colors onto a scrap piece of paper, scanned it in and then made a new layer set the properties to color burn and dropped the opacity to about 50%. The result was a natural soft freckle, it worked out pretty well
Thanx for the comments.
Lovely
We've both been here for years, and I've never commented on any of your work (art, flash or collab-wise). I'm so old, I don't remember the rhyme on which you based this picture... Depth and lighting are spot on; the water splashing is elegantly portrayed. One star off for being a little too centered(?) Thanks for your years of service to the NG community!!
...and a thank you to you as well! :)
There are variations but:
Rub a dub dub,
Three men in a tub,
And who do you think they be?
The butcher, the baker,
The candlestick maker.
Turn them out, knaves all three.
cute oc's
Spotted your style of drawing on the art page straight off! Good luck with the comic... maybe in a flash form, later on?
Wow, really? X3 Thanks so much!
Haha yeah people have been pushing and pushing for the new flash...it will have Jessi, Riley and Leem in it (the one in green). But I'm having trouble even starting to animate it.
Oi!
Good to see him again!
consistently cool work
So does this pave the way for some Eddie drawings? One star off for a slight lack of detail. Eddie lives!!
